Betway bettors are backing the LA Rams to win Super Bowl LXI and Joe Burrow to claim NFL MVP in 2026. Here we reveal the most popular NFL futures bets across all major markets.
The 2026 NFL season is here, and we now have a clear picture of the NFL betting markets for the year ahead and where Betway customers have been placing their bets.
We can reveal that the Los Angeles Rams lead the way in both the Super Bowl betting and NFC winner market, with huge public support following a blockbuster offseason in which they acquired Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie and saw Aaron Donald come out of retirement.
Meanwhile, Joe Burrow is comfortably the most popular selection in the NFL MVP betting for 2026 as he looks to bounce back from an injury-affected 2025 season. Elsewhere, the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills dominate AFC winner betting as bettors look to predict who will come out on top a hugely competitive conference.
Here we look at the most popular NFL futures bets placed by Betway customers and reveal which teams and players bettors have the most faith in for the season ahead.
Rams top most popular Super Bowl winner bets
The Los Angeles Rams are the most-backed Super Bowl winner, accounting for 12.09% of all wagers in the market. They are followed by the Buffalo Bills (10.83%), who look to finally get over the hump with quarterback Josh Allen, and the defending champion Seattle Seahawks (9.27%).
Rounding out the top five are the Kansas City Chiefs – who are expected to start Patrick Mahomes in Week 1 after the quarterback made a speedy recovery from a torn ACL suffered last season – and the Denver Broncos.

Joe Burrow leads NFL MVP betting
When it comes to NFL MVP predictions, no player has generated more interest from Betway customers than Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow has dealt with injuries throughout his career and missed significant time last season, but he has been among the league’s most prolific passers when healthy and is expected by bettors to put up huge numbers in the season ahead.
Burrow has attracted 18.57% of MVP wagers, more than double the percentage received by the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen (8.48%). Caleb Williams is perhaps the surprise choice of bettors in the top five. He ranks third, highlighting the confidence the public have in the Chicago Bears’ high-scoring offence.
Kyler Murray will start for a new team, the Minnesota Vikings, in 2026, and he has also received a surprising amount of support in the NFL MVP betting market as he ranks fourth in bets. Rounding out the top five is Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys.

Rams and Seahawks dominate NFC winner predictions
When it comes to the conference winner betting markets, there is a clear leader in the NFC. The LA Rams (23.26%) have unsurprisingly established themselves as the clear choice for NFC winner bets, earning nearly a quarter of total bets on the market.
The Seattle Seahawks sit second with another good chunk of the market at 19.77%. With both teams among the top Super Bowl winner bets, it’s no surprise to see them dominating their conference when it comes to total bets.
The surprise pick of NFC winner bettors comes in the form of the New York Giants, who have received 10.47% of bets in the market following an impressive rookie season from quarterback Jaxson Dart in 2025, and the offseason acquisition of Super Bowl winning coach John Harbaugh.

They hold only a slim advantage over the Cincinnati Bengals (19.66%) and Buffalo Bills (16.24%), who also continue to attract strong support from bettors.
The Houston Texans and Denver Broncos – both of whom were playoff teams a year ago – round out the top five with 8.55% of bets each.

What the most popular NFL bets tell us
Lewis Knowles, PR Manager at Betway, said: “The Rams remain solid at the head of our Super Bowl market going into the new season, and Sean McVay’s team are the best backed among bettors, accounting for over 13 percent of all preseason bets. The Seahawks have also seen plenty of support to win back-to-back championships, but Buffalo are perhaps been the surprisingly popular choice in this year’s market, with over 11% of bets backing the Bills for a first ever Super Bowl win this season.
“Many fans will be surprised to see Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow leading the way with an astonishing 19 percent of bets in our MVP betting, but we’ve seen more than double the number of bets for Burrow as we have for the MVP favourite Josh Allen ahead of the season. The question is obviously whether Burrow can stay healthy for the duration of the campaign after an injury-ravaged season, but his numbers in previous years would put him right up there with the league’s best, and he could be a shrewd pick with a clean bill of health this year.”
