Explore Premier League Golden Boot tips for the 2026/27 season, featuring leading contenders, value selections and best top goalscorer betting predictions.
As ever these days, the Premier League Golden Boot football betting is entirely dominated by one man.
Erling Haaland is a big odds-on favourite to win the award for the fourth time in five seasons, having scored 36, 27, 22 and 27 goals in his four campaigns so far.
But with Manchester City surely set to regress a little in their post-Pep Guardiola era – and with Haaland’s dominance in the market meaning there are some juicy prices elsewhere – it’s probably worth casting your net below him for a bet.
Igor Thiago was runner-up last season, while Alexander Isak will be aiming to get his Liverpool career moving and Joao Pedro is becoming a regular source of goals for Chelsea.
We take a look at all of the best prices with these Premier League betting tips.
Premier League Golden Boot Odds 2026/27
As explained above, Haaland is 4/6 favourite and clearly the likely winner.
The City forward seems to be able to score 20+ goals with his eyes closed and is the reason his side can’t entirely be ruled out of the football betting in the Premier League title race, even without Guardiola.
Next is Isak, who finished second in 2024/25 with 23 goals for Newcastle, the campaign that convinced Liverpool to buy him.
His fitness and durability is the biggest question mark but we know he has the pedigree at 9/1 .
Thiago finished runner-up last season and is an attractive proposition at 10/1 as Brentford’s main man.
The Brazilian is on penalties and benefits from a constant flow of crosses into the box.
Pedro is also well worth considering at 14/1 Chelsea’s number nine.
Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers will be supplying the ammunition and he has proved himself physically capable of competing in the air as well as cute enough with his feet.
Ollie Watkins follows at 16/1
The forward is a consistent scorer for Villa, though there have been rumours linking him with a move away and it’s not certain he would start every game with Champions League football also on the agenda.
Benjamin Sesko is not a certainty in the Manchester United team, so 22/1 doesn’t feel like a great bet for him.
At the same price of 20/1 , Viktor Gyokeres is battling to earn his place as Arsenal’s number nine and just can’t be banked on to play enough.
Here’s who we’re backing with our football betting tips.
Joao Pedro
Fitness assumed, Pedro should start the majority of games as Chelsea’s number nine.
The Blues are not in the Champions League, so there is time for Xabi Alonso to work on the way he wants his side to attack, which is set to feature Palmer and Rogers in the pockets behind the Brazilian.
Pedro scored 15 goals in the Premier League last season, putting him fifth in the standings – and only one goal off the places in this market.
He is strong in the air, more goals than you might expect coming in scruffy circumstances, but also has the all-round game to pop up with goals from other areas.
The forward is totally fresh, too, having been left out of Brazil’s World Cup squad. He has scored seven goals in pre-season – a hat-trick and two braces.
One downside? He is unlikely to be on penalties.
But as the main number nine for a team that should compete in the upper echelons of the division, Pedro is tough to ignore at 14/1 .
Morgan Gibbs-White
It’s worth looking at a bigger price for a second bet and Gibbs-White has to be an attractive choice considering he placed last season.
The attacking midfielder will surely be a perfect fit for Oliver Glasner’s 3-4-2-1 system, is Forest’s best player and on penalties.
There was a feeling he was elevating himself towards being one of the top forward players in the division last season and, should that progress continue, another double-figure season is absolutely on the cards.
That sense is helped by his natural eye for goal, which saw him rank 11th for shots per game last season.
That would give us a decent run for our money at 80/1 .
