Leeds v Newcastle Betting Tips: 10/1 Premier League Bet Builder

Looking for Leeds United v Newcastle United betting tips? Check out our Premier League Bet Builder, expert predictions, best-value selections and latest odds.

Leeds United host Newcastle United in what should be an interesting affair at Elland Road on Monday night.

Both teams have made decent starts to the season, Leeds unbeaten through three league matches against a decent calibre of opposition, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Brighton.

Newcastle are also undefeated on five points, having won away at Tottenham between two 2-2 draws.

Here are our football tips for the 8pm Monday kick-off, producing a 10/1 Bet Builder.

Leeds v Newcastle betting tips

Leeds to win 6/5

Under 3.5 goals 4/9

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score 13/10

Jayden Bogle to take 1+ shot 4/6

Leeds to win

Newcastle have made a fine start to the season, but their potency has relied on being afforded space to counter-attack quickly.

That is how Matthias Jaissle’s side scored two goals against Liverpool in their best performance on the opening weekend, before they were less impressive even in picking up four points against Tottenham and Bournemouth.

Leeds are solid defensively and won’t expose themselves to that situation, with their three-at-the-back system and physicality all over the pitch their major asset.

Daniel Farke’s side won four of heir last five home games of last season and are rightful favourites for this one.

Under 3.5 goals

That approach from the hosts would also mean we don’t see a high-scoring affair.

Seven of the hosts’ last eight games have come in at under 3.5 goals, while only Thursday’s wild EFL Cup tie at Chelsea has beaten that line so far this season home or away.

Newcastle actually have the second-lowest xG figure in the league so far and sit fifth-bottom for shots per game, so this doesn’t look likely to turn into a shoot-out.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score

Calvert-Lewin is an enjoyable player to back because he always seems to get himself into the most dangerous areas inside the box.

The striker has taken six shots in three games so far this season, five of which have been from close range, and scored in the last home match against Brentford.

He also netted in the 6-3 defeat at Chelsea last week, having finished last season with three goals in four games.

Jayden Bogle to take 1+ shot

Bogle scored with his first shot of the season at Brighton last weekend, and we can expect more of a goal threat moving forwards.

The wing-back revealed after that match that Farke has been encouraging him to get into the box more and more, as he aims to reproduce the type of attacking output – six goals and five assists – that was key in Leeds’ promotion in 2024/25.

He is an attacking player by instinct and can follow up his first goal of the campaign with another forward-thinking performance on Monday night.

Leeds United v Newcastle United odds

This is an attractive fixture, though we are backing Leeds to largely shut it down and churn out another home victory.

Daniel Farke’s side are reliable performers in the middle of the Premier League and another solid display would give this 10/1 football betting Bet Builder a good chance.
