Saturday’s Premier League tips
Bees backed to see off Cottagers
Brentford still have high hopes of European football next season and a top-five spot and place in the Champions League is not completely out of the question.
Keith Andrew’s men have lost only one of their last nine league matches and Brentford have been good enough to beat Aston Villa, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Manchester United this season.
Fulham will have motivation for a west London derby, but the Cottagers have lacked intensity in recent weeks and it’s only four wins in 11 games for Marco Silva’s men.
Leg 1: Brentford to beat Fulham @ 11/10
Leeds to build on Old Trafford success
Leeds eased their relegation fears with an excellent 2-1 win over Manchester United on Monday night and the Whites can take another huge step towards safety when Wolves head for Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s men had 15 shots and put up an expected goals figure of 2.57 against an in-form team at Old Trafford and anything like those numbers will be too much for Wolves.
Rob Edwards’ men have put in some spirited displays in recent months, but relegation is a formality and the fight may have left the Wolves at this stage of the season.
Leg 2: Leeds to beat Wolves @ 8/13
More misery for Spurs
Roberto De Zerbi will be targeting three points in his first home game in charge of Tottenham, but Spurs are winless in their last 14 league matches and they now face an in-from Brighton side in north London.
Tottenham carried very little attacking threat in a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland last weekend and confidence appears sapped.
Brighton are in red-hot form, winning five of their last six Premier League matches, and the Seagulls can deepen Spurs’ woes.
Leg 3: Brighton to beat Tottenham @ 11/8
United to bounce back
Chelsea look set to lose ground in the race for a top-five finish when they host Manchester United.
The Blues were awful when losing 3-0 to Manchester City last weekend and that made it five defeats in six matches for the Liam Rosenior’s side.
The only victory on that poor run was a FA Cup success over League One strugglers Port Vale.
Manchester United were beaten by Leeds last time out, but the Red Devils finished strongly with ten men and this is a team which has beaten Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool this term.
Leg 4: Manchester United to beat Chelsea @ 21/10
