Premier League acca: An 11/1 four-fold for the midweek fixtures

There's a full midweek Premier League fixture list to look forward to and we have a four-fold accumulator covering Wednesday's matches

There is a full midweek Premier League programme to fit in before the top-flight clubs tackle the FA Cup third round at the weekend.

Managerless pair Chelsea and Manchester United both face awkward away trips on Wednesday, while bottom club Wolves will be looking to double their win tally for the season when they visit Everton.

The sole game on Thursday is a major clash between champions Liverpool and current pace-setters Arsenal. Here are our Premier League betting selections for Wednesday night.

Midweek Premier League tips

  • Brentford to beat Sunderland @ 5/6

  • Aston Villa to beat Crystal Palace @ 13/10

  • Everton to beat Wolves @ 4/5

  • Newcastle to beat Leeds @ 7/10

Four-fold @ 11.9/1

In-form Bees are buzzing

Sunderland are the Premier League’s draw specialists this season, with nine of their 20 top-flight games ending with the scores level, but the Black Cats could struggle to take anything from their trip to London to face in-form Brentford.

The Bees have had a happy holiday period, taking 10 points from four games against Wolves, Bournemouth, Tottenham and Everton and firing four goals past both the Cherries and the Toffees.

Sunderland have been dogged in grinding their way to a five-match unbeaten run, but they have scored only three goals in those games and could find themselves outgunned by the home side.

Regis Le Bris’ team have scored only five goals in 10 away games, while the Bees are averaging two goals per home match.

Leg 1: Brentford to beat Sunderland @ 5/6

Villans can add to Palace’s worries

Crystal Palace fans may have been getting a little anxious after their team’s seven-game winless run in all competitions but things could get worse before they get better with third-placed Aston Villa set to visit Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

The Eagles have managed only three goals in their last five league and cup games and lack the firepower of the visitors, who are on an incredible run of 12 wins in their last 13 games.

Their only setback is forgivable as it was a 4-1 loss to leaders Arsenal, when all the goals came in the second half, and Villa have scored 19 times in their last eight games.

Palace have won only two of their 10 home league games while Villa had won on five successive road trips before their visit to the Emirates.

Leg 2: Aston Villa to beat Crystal Palace @ 13/10

Wolves revival could be short-lived

Wolves have breathed life into their Premier League campaign by picking up four points from their last two games.

However much of a relief Saturday’s 3-0 home win over West Ham – their first league success of the season – must have been, it doesn’t count for a lot as the Hammers are also in the relegation zone after losing four of their last five games.

Everton were overpowered by Brentford in a 4-2 home defeat on Sunday, but they have won eight league games this season and recorded an excellent 2-0 away win at Nottingham Forest in their previous match.

The Toffees won the teams’ first meeting 3-2 in August and can complete a double at home.

Leg 3: Everton to beat Wolves @ 4/5

Leeds’ travel sickness to continue

Leeds have been on a solid seven-game unbeaten run that includes two draws with Liverpool and a home win against Chelsea but it could come to an end when they take on a daunting trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle.

The Magpies have won six of their 10 home games this season, while Leeds have been successful only once on the road, and that was against rock-bottom Wolves in September.

Newcastle are unbeaten in 11 home games since losing 2-1 to leaders Arsenal in September and can pick up a third successive victory after beating Burnley and Crystal Palace in their last two matches.

Leg 4: Newcastle to beat Leeds @ 7/10
