Premier League acca: A 9/1 four-fold for Saturday’s fixtures

There are a whopping eight Premier League games taking place on a busy Saturday and we have put together a four-fold for the action.

Saturday is a busy day for Premier League fans, with eight games spread from lunchtime, with four in the traditional 3pm slot right through to the late-night offering featuring leaders Arsenal travelling to Everton and Leeds hosting Crystal Palace.

Earlier, Manchester City have the chance to go top – at least temporarily – if they defeat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium while beleaguered Wolves entertain Brentford.

We’ve got a Saturday four-fold from the Premier League that comes in at odds of more than 9/1 if successful.

Saturday Premier League Tips

  • Wolves or draw vs Brentford @ 31/40

  • Liverpool to beat Tottenham @ 1/1

  • Arsenal to beat Everton @ 8/13

  • Leeds vs Crystal Palace both teams to score @ 17/20

Four-fold at 9/1

Now or never for Wolves

Rob Edwards could rightfully point to a spirted and cohesive display from Wolves against league leaders Arsenal last weekend, as his side were cruelly undone in the dying embers at the Emirates having looked like grabbing a point.

That Wolves ‘scored’ all three goals but lost to the Gunners merely applied salt to an open wound.

That came off the back of a decent first half at Molineux against Manchester United where they went in at 1-1.

With two points on the board and just two more games before the halfway stage in the season, the Old Gold appear doomed. They might, though, pick up something against a Brentford side in the middle of a poor run.

The Bees have won only once in six games in league and cup and have lost seven of eight Premier League away fixtures.

Reds can compound Spurs misery

Thomas Frank has conceded there is no ‘quick fix’ amid Tottenham’s miserable run of one win in seven Premier League games since the start of November.

At home, they have beaten only Burnley and an out-of-sorts Brentford in eight attempts and last weekend’s 3-0 loss at Nottingham Forest was alarmingly easy for the home side.

After their own poor run, Liverpool are now five games without defeat in league and cup as Arne Slot tries to turn things around.

Liverpool have won four of the last five head-to-heads, the only blip being an EFL Cup semi-final first leg defeat last season that was overturned 4-0 at Anfield. They have scored 19 goals in those four wins, compared to six for Spurs, and more Tottenham Hotspur Stadium misery may await the home fans.

Leg 2: Liverpool to beat Tottenham @ 1/1

Gunners should outclass Everton

Arsenal endured a nervy evening against Wolves last weekend and only two major slices of luck got them out of jail.

The Gunners drew both league meetings with Everton last season but can take maximum points from this first visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Given they have dominated the title race to all intents and purposes for three months, notions of not being top of the pile on Christmas Day are unfathomable for Mikel Arteta and his side.

If Man City take care of business against West Ham, a win here is required to top the tree on December 25th.

After a bright start, Everton have lost two of the last four at their new home. David Moyes’ side have also lost all five of their Premier League games against teams competing in the Champions League this season, with Tottenham and Newcastle combining for a 7-1 aggregate scoreline in wins on Merseyside.

Leg 3: Arsenal to beat Everton @ 8/13

Goals to flow at Elland Road

Crystal Palace have picked up more points (16) on the road than any team in the Premier League going into the weekend.

They’ve won five times but perhaps are flattered, with the current bottom three and Fulham (14th) their victims since accounting for a slow-starting Aston Villa in August.

They should get their fill of trouble at Elland Road, where Leeds have scored six goals in taking four points from Chelsea and Liverpool of late. Both teams to score looks a solid play in West Yorkshire.
