Five Bundesliga Betting Bankers This Weekend

High-flyers Bayern and Wolfsburg are safe bets once again, alongside the likes of Dortmund and Frankfurt.

Stick these five picks in your accumulators this week for a healthy German-based profit.

Frankfurt On The Right Track To Beat Mainz

Eintracht Frankfurt are having the most mid-table of seasons. They are ninth (out of 18) and have seven wins, seven draws and seven defeats. However, they have been more impressive than that in recent weeks, beating Schalke last time out and drawing with high-flying Wolfsburg and Augsburg. Mainz are struggling down in 14th and their last two matches have seen them to teams below them in the table. On current form Frankfurt are really good value at 37/20.

Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Mainz @ 37/20

Resurgent Dortmund Will See Off Stuttgart

Borussia Dortmund are still languishing in the bottom half of the Bundesliga but they have won back-to-back matches convincingly and may well have turned a corner. They might not be reliable against the top sides yet but against bottom-of-the-table Stuttgart they should make it three wins from three. Die Roten have scored just once in five games, losing three and drawing two. They look short of ideas and set for yet another loss on Friday night.

Bayern A Safe Bet As Always

Bayern may have been disappointed with a goalless draw at Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday, but they will have no trouble bouncing back against Paderborn on Saturday. The Bavarians have scored 10 without reply in their last two Bundesliga games and can expect another comfortable victory this time around. Paderborn did buck a long winless streak last time out but they will be powerless against the might of Bayern, as most are.

Bayern Munich (-1) to beat Paderborn @ 1/2

Expect No Goals At Cologne

Cologne host Hannover on Saturday evening and it should not be one for the ages between a couple of pretty poor and pretty turgid teams. Cologne are the second lowest goal scorers in the Bunesliga with just 19 in 21 games, but they do have a strong defence, conceding 24 times in that period; this makes for some dull contests. Hannover are in no situation to do much about this, without a win in five and coming off back-to-back defeats against strugglers Hamburg and Paderborn. This should be a stinker and under 2.5 goals looks very likely at 3/5.

Cologne v Hannover Under 2.5 Goals @ 3/5

Wolves To Maul Woeful Hertha

Wolfsburg are in superb form at the moment; six wins and three draws in their last nine games is testament to that, as is the 13 goals they have scored in their last four outings. In stark contrast, Hertha Berlin have lost six of their last nine in the Bundesliga, failing to score in four of their last five. Hertha have lost more games than any other team this season and they will do so again on Sunday, probably very comfortably. Wolfsburg look good with a -1 handicap at 17/20.
