5-Fold Premier League ACCA: Spice up your weekend with this quality quintet

Chelsea and Arsenal lead the way on the opening day of the season, but new boys Bournemouth can also make a splash in their first Premier League outing

Evens – Bournemouth to beat Aston Villa

If Bournemouth can carry over their momentum from the end of the last season then they will be difficult to stop at the start of this campaign.

The Cherries finished the Championship season with nine wins and three draws from their last 12 games, storming to the top of the table.

They have made sensible signings this summer and will be confident going into their debut Premier League season.

Villa have not had a good pre-season, losing their three best players in Christian Benteke, Fabien Delph and Ron Vlaar.

Tim Sherwood is still unproven as a manager and his team do not look in great shape.

They will be set for another relegation scrap this year.

8/11 – Everton to beat Watford

These teams have had contrasting transfer windows with Everton very quiet in the market while Watford have brought in a huge amount of new players.

Most of these newcomers are untested in the Premier League and neither is their new manager Quique Flores.

Four times these sides have met in the Premier League and Everton have won all of them.

They look good to pick up a fifth straight league victory over the Hornets.

4/11 – Chelsea to beat Swansea

Chelsea are favourites to win the Premier League this season and they should get off to a winning start at home to Swansea on Saturday evening.

The Blues did not look great in losing the Community Shield to Arsenal last weekend, but Jose Mourinho will have them ready and they are notoriously tough to beat at home.

The last five meetings in the Premier League between these two have all ended with a Chelsea win with an aggregate score of 12-2.

Swansea are no pushovers, but they will not be able to stop the champions.

2/7 – Arsenal to beat West Ham

The Gunners have a tremendous record against the Hammers – their last 15 meetings have produced 13 wins, two draws and no defeats for Arsene Wenger’s men.

West Ham have not exactly been convincing in their early outings under new boss Slaven Bilic in the Europa League and are missing their major goal threat Enner Valencia through injury.

Arsenal are a safe bet this weekend.

11/5 – Stoke to beat Liverpool

Liverpool do not enjoy their trips to Stoke.

They have won just two of their last eight contests at the Britannia Stadium and memorably got a 6-1 thrashing at the end of last season.

The Potters have strengthened impressively this summer with the signing of Ibrahim Afellay really catching the eye.

It is hard to predict how Liverpool will perform this season and Brendan Rodgers is under immense pressure. Stoke look an excellent price.
