1. Victorious Festival, Portsmouth
Victorious Festival takes top spot as the UK’s most underrated music festival. Set against the Southsea seafront, it has become one of the south coast’s most popular events over its 14-year run. This year’s line-up features iconic names, with Richard Ashcroft, The Black Keys, Kasabian and Bastille headlining across the weekend.
Despite its scale, the festival remains relatively accessible, with three-day tickets priced at £241.92. Its popularity is also reflected online, with over 54,000 Instagram hashtags, helping cement its status as a standout event that remains just under the radar.
2. Wanderlust, Southampton
Wanderlust follows in second. A relative newcomer to the UK festival scene, founded in 2024, it has quickly established itself as a must-visit for indie and alternative music fans. Spread across four of Southampton’s most beloved venues, it offers a city-wide celebration of emerging talent.
With ticket prices starting at just £69, it stands out as one of the most affordable festivals on the list, particularly appealing for fans priced out of larger events. 3. Slam Dunk, Leeds & London
Slam Dunk festival takes third place. The UK’s biggest independent rock festival, Slam Dunk is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Split between Leeds and London over one weekend, tickets are priced at around £139, and it has become a defining moment in the pop-punk, emo and alternative calendar.
Known for packing major names into the two days, this year’s line up features Good Charlotte, Sublime and Taking Back Sunday, having a combined Spotify reach of over 24.8 million. 4. End of the Road, Dorset

Taking place in Brighton, the four-day event delivers a city-wide showcase of emerging talent, making it one of the most accessible ways to experience a multi-day festival without the premium price tag.
Wanderlust in Southampton follows closely at £34.50 a day, offering an affordable grassroots-style experience spread across multiple venues. Sound City in Liverpool completes the top three, continuing to be one of the UK’s standout festivals for breaking new artists.
