World Cup Tips: A 13/2 Bet Builder for Panama v England

England take on Panama in their final game in Group L with the Three Lions still looking to secure top spot while the Canal Men need a win to stand any chance of advancing to the knockout stages.

England failed to break down Ghana in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw, but the Three Lions will be targeting three points when they meet Panama in the final round of Group L matches.

Panama are yet to pick up a World Cup point, but third-place qualification gives the Canal Men hope of progress if they can beat England.

We’ve analysed the stats and browsed the World Cup betting market for a Bet Builder for this match which pays out at 13/2 if successful.

Panama v England Bet Builder Tips

  • England to win to nil @ 5/6

  • Under 3.5 goals @ 8/11

  • Marcus Rashford to score @ 5/4

Pays out at 13/2

Three Lions can guard their goal

England failed to find an answer to Ghana’s low block and all-out defensive strategy on Tuesday night, but the Three Lions conceded only two corners, one shot on target and an expected goals figure of 0.17.

The Black Stars carry far greater counter-attacking potential than Panama and Thomas Tuchel’s men are unlikely to have too much defensive work to handle at the MetLife Stadium.

Panama have failed to score a single goal in their two World Cup games against Croatia and Ghana and have hit only five shots on target in 180 minutes of football.

Clearly, England have the edge all over the pitch, and while the Three Lions haven’t been watertight defensively in North America, Panama are unlikely to have enough of the ball to create any chances.

Tuchel’s men had previously impressed in their 4-2 victory over Croatia and England are fancied to win to nil against Panama.

Leg 1: England to win to nil @ 5/6

Goals may be in short supply

It’s unlikely that England will fail to beat Panama, but a 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 victory for the Three Lions looks far more likely than a high-scoring 3-1 success or 4-0 hammering.

Panama need to win to have any hope of reaching the knockout rounds, but it will still be a low block from the Canal Men, who know they are outclassed by the European giants.

Anthony Gordon and Noni Madueke offered little in wide areas in the 0-0 draw with Ghana and Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane were unable to unlock the Black Stars’ defence.

Under 3.5 goals looks a play in this final Group L contest.

Leg 2: Under 3.5 goals @ 8/11

Rashford can relish opportunity

Anthony Gordon has offered little on the left-hand side of England’s attack and the soon-to-be Barcelona forward could be replaced by Marcus Rashford.

Rashford found the net in England’s opening 4-2 victory over Croatia and the Manchester United forward offers pace, direct running and a huge goal threat.

The 28-year-old scored 14 goals for Barcelona this season and looks a nice price to score when England meet Panama.

Leg 3: Marcus Rashford to score @ 5/4
