World Cup Final Tips: A 25/1 Bet Builder for Spain v Argentina
Spain World Cup betting tips

The World Cup reaches a conclusion on Sunday as defending champions Argentina take on Spain in the final at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Spain and Argentina square off in Sunday’s huge World Cup final after La Roja saw off France and the defending champions then accounted for England this week.

Spain produced a clinical performance to dump out the previously impressive Les Bleus in the last four as they claimed a 2-0 win on Tuesday.

Argentina played England on Wednesday and needed two late goals to turn the game around after falling behind early in the second half.

La Roja are seeking a second World Cup win after landing the title in 2010, while Argentina are bidding for their fourth success and they have a chance to become just the third nation to win back-to-back World Cups.

Ahead of Sunday’s showpiece, we have looked at the World Cup betting markets for a bet builder which, if successful, returns odds of around 25/1 with Betway.

Spain v Argentina Bet Builder Tips

  • Mikel Oyarzabal to score at any time @ 7/5

  • Lionel Messi 2+ shots on target @ 11/10

  • Enzo Fernandez 1+ shots on target @ 13/8

  • Dani Olmo 2+ shots @ 21/20

    Pays @ 25/1

Oyarzabal the standout scorer option

Mikel Oyarzabal is Spain’s leading scorer at the World Cup with five goals and the dependable Real Sociedad striker looks the best bet for an anytime effort in the final.

The likes of Lamine Yamal and Alex Baena tend to draw in defenders and that provides Oyarzabal with a bit of space to exploit and he is the form man in terms of scoring in the Spanish attack.

Oyarzabal scored from the penalty spot in the semi-final win over France and should be on spot kick duties again, further strengthening his cause.

Leg 1: Mikel Oyarzabal to score at any time @ 7/5

Messi magic can test Spain

Lionel Messi assisted both of Argentina’s goals against England and only had one shot, but he had 33 attempts across his previous six World Cup games and may get a few more chances against Spain.

Argentina may have to try their luck from range a little more against La Roja’s impressive defence and Messi is happy to shoot from distance.

The evergreen superstar is averaging 2.3 shots on target per game for the tournament and two or more looks an achievable target in Sunday’s showpiece.

Leg 2: Lionel Messi 2+ shots on target @ 11/10

Back Fernandez from range

Enzo Fernandez scored Argentina’s equaliser against England from outside the area and he can follow that up by having at least one shot on target in the final too.

Fernandez is averaging 1.8 attempts per game with 0.7 per game on target. Like Messi, he is a good option to shoot from distance and after his strike against the Three Lions, his teammates should be looking to pick him out in attacking areas where he can again do some damage in and around the edge of the area.

Leg 3: Enzo Fernandez 1+ shots on target @ 13/8

Olmo a threat for La Roja

Dani Olmo is yet to score at the World Cup but he has made an impact with two assists, including one in the semi-final, and he’s been getting chances.

The Barcelona forward has had at least two shots in four of his five World Cup starts so it’s feasible he should be able to get at least two shots away against Argentina as well.

Leg 4: Dani Olmo 2+ shots @ 21/20
