Here are Will Rook's football tips for Forest Green v Tranmere on Monday night.

Forest Green to win in 90 minutes

Forest Green lost the first leg 1-0 after being reduced to 10 men with just 15 minutes gone.

But Rovers did an impressive job of closing the game down after that, only conceding to a long-range effort from Ollie Banks in the first half.

Back at home, and with a full complement of players, they look decent value to at least level the tie, especially given Tranmere have gone four without a win on the road.

Christian Doidge to score

Doidge scored five goals in his last five games of the season and will be Rovers’ main goal threat on Monday.

He lacked any service in the first leg after the visitors opted for damage limitation following the early red, but they can’t afford to sit back here.

Under 2.5 goals

With just one goal in the tie, it’s bound to be a nervy affair.

Tranmere have scored just one goal in their last four away games – against strugglers Crawley – and struggled to make their one-man advantage count on Friday.

James Norwood to be carded

There are signs that Norwood’s stalling form is affecting his discipline.

The 31-goal striker has managed just two in his last eight games and was left frustrated at Prenton Park on Friday.

He has been carded 11 times this season, including three times in his last six goalless matches.

Forest Green to qualify for the final

Should Mark Cooper’s side win in 90 minutes, it would be hard to back against the home side securing their place at Wembley.

They beat Tranmere 3-1 at The New Lawn in October and another two-goal victory would do it.
