Here are Adam Drury‘s football tips for the League Two play-off semi-final first leg between Aston Villa v West Brom on Saturday.
Aston Villa (-1)
Villa have been the best team in the division since the start of March, winning 10 consecutive matches to cruise into the play-off positions.
They have scored more than once in four of their last six home games, thrashing Derby 4-0 and Middlesbrough 3-0 on that run.
Tammy Abraham to score
Abraham will return from injury here, so should extend a run of scoring in 11 of his last 13 appearances at Villa Park.
Only Norwich’s Teemu Pukki has taken more shots from inside the penalty area per game this season.
John McGinn to be carded
McGinn has been carded 14 times this season, including in his last outing at Leeds a fortnight ago.
The Scottish international ranks top for both fouls and tackles in the Aston Villa squad.
Stefan Johansen to be carded
Johansen has been booked seven times this term, the most recent of which came at Derby on Sunday.
No West Brom player has committed more fouls per game this season, while he comes up against Jack Grealish, who has been fouled far more often than any other Championship player.
