Alex Jack has built a four-leg accumulator for Tuesday night's Champions League action.
Best bets:
Sporting Braga double chance v Union Berlin @ 7/8
PSV Eindhoven v Sevilla – Over 2.5 goals @ 17/20
Manchester United v Galatasaray – Under 2.5 goals @ 7/5
Real Sociedad double chance v Salzburg @ 4/9
Accumulator 12/1
Union Berlin v Sporting Braga (17:45)
Last month was one to forget for Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin, as they lost five matches in a row in all competitions.
Urs Fischer’s side are stuck in a bit of a rut at the minute, but they showed plenty of fight in their first Champions League match of the season, as they only lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in the Spanish capital.
Worryingly for Fischer, his side have failed to score in their last two games at home, and that should give Sporting Braga a huge confidence boost.
Braga have won five of their previous six in all competitions, and they should be able to leave Germany with at least a point.
Salzburg v Real Sociedad (17:45)
Real Sociedad should be able to make it five unbeaten in all competitions when they travel to Austria to face Salzburg on Tuesday.
La Real were on track to beat Inter Milan in their Champions League opener, only for Lautaro Martinez to score with three minutes remaining.
Sociedad have not let that setback unsettle them, though, as they have since beaten Getafe, Valencia and Athletic Bilbao. Their 3-0 success in the Basque Derby is a major confidence boost, and they should be able to get a share of the spoils against a Salzburg side who lost 1-0 to Blau-Weib Linz last time they played at home.
PSV Eindhoven v Sevilla (20:00)
Dutch giants PSV tried to set a wicked tempo against Arsenal on matchday one, and it backfired as they were picked apart before losing 4-0.
They are unlikely to change their tactics under Peter Bosz, having scored at least three goals in their three Eredivisie games since their last European contest.
Sevilla have proven to be tough to break down of late and are slowly improving, and they hit five goals past Almeria last week.
Picking a winner is difficult, but the signs suggest we should witness a high-scoring encounter in Eindhoven.
Manchester United v Galatasaray (20:00)
Consistency continues to be Manchester United’s issue, and the Red Devils were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace on Saturday, just days after recording a 3-0 win over the Eagles in the EFL Cup.
United were shy in front of goal last time out, but they did score three in their previous Champions League match, only to lose 4-3 to Bayern Munich.
Erik ten Hag’s side need to keep things tight at the back if they are to start making progress, and they face a Galatasaray side who are not known for their exploits on the road in Europe.
They failed to score during their last two group-stage campaigns, albeit in 2018 and 2019, and they will be coming to frustrate United, as a draw will be classed as a good result for the Turkish giants.
