Champions League Tips: An 18/1 Bet Builder for PSG v Bayern Munich
Champions League Tuesday tips

UEFA Champions League outright favourites Bayern Munich head to the Parc des Princes with reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain in their sights, as both sides look to build a first-leg lead in this semi-final tie.

Newly crowned Bundesliga champions Die Bayern arrive in the French capital in astonishing form, but Les Parisiens have made a habit of overcoming difficult obstacles over the past couple of years and can never be ruled out.

We have selected a football betting Bet Builder on the match that pays out at 18/1 if successful.

Kane to lead Die Bayern to first-leg win

Harry Kane came off the bench to score an 83rd-minute winner in a seven-goal thriller at Mainz on Saturday and the 32-year-old can continue his stunning season by leading his club to victory in Paris.

That strike in Mainz was Kane’s 53rd club goal of the season and his 19th in his last 15 appearances, with his only failure to score in this sequence coming in a cameo appearance at Bayer Leverkusen.

Kane did not find the net in Bayern’s 2-1 win at PSG earlier this season, but that is one of just nine games in which he has started and not scored, and he can add to his world-leading tally on Tuesday.

That should help Die Bayern to a first-leg lead over PSG, with their win at the weekend extending their unbeaten run to 19 games. They have won 17 of these, including each of their last nine.

Les Parisiens are not in bad form by any means, but they did recently lose at home to Lyon and have failed to win three of their seven Champions League home games this season, including that November defeat to the Germans.

Leg 1: Bayern Munich to win @ 17/10
Leg 2: Harry Kane to score anytime @ 1/1

Star strikers to ensure goals

England international Kane may be receiving the plaudits, but he is not the only player in this phenomenal Bayern front three and former Crystal Palace man Michael Olise is backed to be a major threat to the hosts.

The 24-year-old has racked up 44 goal contributions for Bayern this season, registering 151 shots and 69 on target for an average of 1.64 shots on target per 90 minutes.

Twenty of these have come in his last 12 games, with him testing the opposition goalkeeper at least once in all 12 of these assignments.

The home side’s hopes may rest with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Bradley Barcola.

Kvaratskhelia has had a massive 14 shots on target in his last six appearances, registering two or more in each of these, while Barcola has hit the target at least once in seven of his last eight games for the club.

Leg 3: Michael Olise 1+ shot on target @ 3/8
Leg 4: Bradley Barcola 1+ shot on target @ 2/5
Leg 5: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia 2+ shots on target @ 13/10
