Arsenal v Swansea: Sanchez can fire Gunners to crucial victory in race for 2nd place

With nothing to play for, Swansea are unlikely to find the same motivation as the in-form North Londoners

1) The Gunners are in exceptional form at the moment, having won nine and drawn one of their last 10 games.  Whilst this push has come too late to mount a challenge, the Gunners are still fighting to finish in second place for the first time since 2004/05

2) Wenger’s men have scored in 94% of their games at the Emirates this season  – and have averaged over two goals per game in their current 10 game unbeaten streak. Back them to continue that scoring form by netting more than 2.5 goals at 11/10

3) Swansea have gone into the halftime break level on 20 occasions this season – over half of their games. With over 60% of Arsenal’s home goals coming after the break, expect a 0-0 stalemate after 45 minutes on Monday, which is priced at 12/5

4) 75% of Arsenal’s games at home have had more than 2.5 goals, with most of those goals coming from the high-scoring home side, who have the third most lethal attack in the league. This game to have more than 2.5 goals is priced at 11/20

5) Swansea’s last seven goals have all been scored by different players – Ki Sung Yueng, Jefferson Montero, Jack Cork, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Nélson Oliveira, Jonjo Shelvey and Bafétimbi Gomis

6) By contrast, the Gunners have had two just two scorers in their last three games – Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez. The latter, who leads Arsenal’s scoring charts with 16, is 3/1 to open the scoring on Monday

7) Garry Monk’s men have only scored more than 1 goal on the road on four occasions this season – and they are 9/10 to add to that record by failing to score against Arsenal on Monday night
