Our Bears vs Seahawks betting picks for NFL Week 8 2026 include odds analysis, best bets, key matchups and picks for your same-game parlay
What a fascinating Sunday that was, led by one of the strangest routs that I have witnessed in a very long time – the Buffalo Bills’ 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium.
For most of the game, the Bills, up against a team down to its third-string quarterback, kept shooting themselves in the foot with penalties (ten) and dropped passes. In the end, they covered the spread by a mile, but what a frustrating viewing experience.
Bettors had a great early afternoon, with the Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Detroit Lions taking care of business, but then the Arizona Cardinals shocked the pathetic Dallas Cowboys, and sportsbooks must have been happy. That and the Denver Broncos upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tonight’s Week 8 capper is at Lumen Field in Seattle, with the Seahawks (4-3, 3-1 at home) hosting the surging Chicago Bears (5-2, 2-1 away). Game time is 8:15 p.m. EST.
Seattle is coming off a big win over the Chiefs, and Chicago is looking to keep building on its strong play of late, led by quarterback Caleb Williams, who is increasingly in the MVP conversation. In NFL betting at Betway, Williams is +1200, after Josh Allen (+140), Brock Purdy (+400), Joe Burrow (+400), and Trevor Lawrence (+850).
On the injury front, the Bears will be without running back Kyle Monangai (thumb), with LB D’Marco Jackson (ankle) and CB Malik Muhammad (toe). For bettors, if Monangai is out, that’s going to create more rushing opportunities for D’Andre Swift, so check out his Overs. Linebacker T.J. Edwards and tight end Colston Loveland are not carrying injury designations for tonight’s game.
On the Seahawks side, LT Charles Cross (ankle), WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) and RB Velus Jones Jr. (hamstring) are all out. That Cross loss hurts especially, since it directly impacts their pass protection against Chicago. Shaheed can stretch the field. OLB Uchenna Nwosu (ankle) and G Anthony Bradford (knee) are questionable.
And a headline-maker: Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet is expected to play, returning from a torn ACL, which will impact Seattle’s running-back rotation and player prop opportunities.
Eyes are on Williams against Seattle’s No. 1 pass defence. Williams has thrown 300+ in consecutive games since returning from that hamstring injury, completing an eyebrow-raising 71% of his passes this season.
The Seahawks, though, are bulls on defence – leading the NFL in passing yards allowed (144.4 per game).
Then there’s Chicago’s revamped defensive front, after acquiring All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons in a trade with Tennessee and the return of Montez Sweat. That’s a dangerous pass rush, potentially bad news for Sam Darnold, who has thrown eight interceptions in seven games, tied for the league lead.
Here are my Bears vs Seahawks picks.
Bears vs Seahawks Betting Trends
Chicago is tied for the NFL’s best against-the-spread record at 5-2, covering four of their last five games. They are 2-1 ATS on the road this season, according to NBA Sports.
Seattle, though, has won 10 of its last 11 home games. And Betting Pros reports that the Under has hit in four of Seattle’s seven games this season, including in two consecutive games, led by that 20-3 win over the Chiefs.
Bears vs Seahawks Odds
In NFL picks at Betway, the Seahawks are -170 moneyline favourites, while the Bears are +135. Seattle is favoured by 3.5 points (+100), while Chicago is +3.5 (-120). The total is set at 46.5 points, with the Over and Under at -110.
Bears vs Seahawks Betting Picks
Tough one to pick tonight, since the odds suggest a competitive game that could be decided by one possession. Chicago +3.5 offers some protection, but Seattle -3.5 (+100) offers a better payout but more risk. How much of an impact do you think Simmons will have, since he just joined the Bears?
I am going to take the Under 46.5 at -110 because I think Chicago’s front will wreak havoc. Remember, the Seahawks are without Charles Cross.
Then there’s Seattle’s defence – the same group that held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to three points.
I’m going to take that Bears +3.5 cushion. I just love how Williams has been progressing into one of the NFL’s elite QBs. Ben Johnson is one of the best coaches in the NFL. The Bears can lose by a field goal and still cover.
And I can’t go into a Seattle game without betting a Jaxon Smith-Njigba prop, the NFL’s best receiver this season. My preferred prop for him is anytime touchdown (- 110) at Betway.
With Rashid Shaheed out, Smith-Njigba should remain the focal point of Darnold’s passing attack, and Chicago is vulnerable to explosive plays.
Bears vs Seahawks Same Game Parlay
Let’s stay on the Bears: Chicago +3.5, plus Williams 1+ passing touchdowns and Darnold 200+ passing yards, for a combined payout of +162.
Enjoy the game!
