Read on to see where your favorite players ranked.
The most in-demand NBA jerseys
Starting with the NBA, these are the most sought-after jerseys for basketball fans:
1. Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers)
After a breakout year in 2025 that took the Indiana Pacers all the way to the NBA Finals, it’s no wonder that Tyrese Haliburton’s jersey became a best-seller.
Known for his shooting ability and for making clutch shots in the closing seconds of a game, such as his famous buzzer-beater to equalize with the New York Knicks, he quickly became a fan favorite as he took the Pacers on a monumental run to become Eastern Conference champions.
Hali’s jersey became a hot commodity among NBA viewers, absolutely dominating our data. Over the last year, an incredible 1,493,830 searches were made for his No. 0 jersey – that’s more than four times as many searches as LeBron James!
With the 2025-26 season underway, it’ll be interesting to see if his popularity with fans continues.
2. LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)
Often considered one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, LeBron James has long had one of the NBA’s best-selling jerseys. Whether he was making a name for himself with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the early 2000s or earning the Miami Heat back-to-back championships, James could always be found among the most popular jerseys on the market.
Nowadays, his Lakers jersey with the iconic No. 23 – the same worn by Michael Jordan – ranks second on our list. Over the last year, 305,300 fans searched for the jersey on Google, proving that James is still a popular figure after more than 20 years of games.
3. Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors)
Although the Toronto Raptors have struggled over the last few years, Scottie Barnes has remained a popular player throughout his time in the league. His podium finish in our list of the most in-demand jerseys comes as a surprise, though, as he manages to beat competition from household names with lengthy careers.
The 2022 NBA Rookie of the Year wears the No. 4 jersey in the Raptors’ iconic red and black, with 275,960 fan searches for the uniform last year. With such a massive surge of support for his jersey from fans, could this be the sign of a standout year this season?
4. Evan Mobley (Cleveland Cavaliers)
Named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2025, Evan Mobley took the Cleveland Cavaliers to one of their most successful seasons since their championship victory in 2016. Opening the season with a franchise-best 15-0 win streak, the Cavs seemed to be in top form throughout the regular season, with Mobley frequently named as a highlight for the team.
He averaged a career-best 18.5 points per game and 0.9 steals per game across the year, taking Cleveland to the #1 seed in the East before eventually losing to the Pacers in a playoff upset. With 267,900 searches for his No. 4 jersey, Mobley became a breakout player for the young squad, with his 6’11” frame making him a formidable opponent.
5. Kyrie Irving (Dallas Mavericks)
Although the Dallas Mavericks failed to reach the expectations set by them in 2024, in part due to Luka Dončić’s shocking departure to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyrie Irving remained a key component of the team in the 2025 season.
The former NBA champion (2016, Cleveland Cavaliers) failed to take the Mavs to the playoffs, but his season average of 24.7 points per game was the second highest on the roster (beaten only by Dončić).
While his time in the league hasn’t been without its share of controversy, Irving still maintains a loyal fanbase, with 242,610 searches for his No. 11 jersey last year. With the 2025 first overall draft pick Cooper Flagg heading to the Mavericks for this season, can they get back on track and reach another finals?
6. Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)
The first overall draft pick for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020, Anthony Edwards has remained an integral part of the roster since his NBA debut.
Although best known for his stunning slam dunks, Edwards is also a skilled shooter, having earned the most three-pointers of any player in Timberwolves history. Many fans consider him to be a contender for the modern face of the NBA, thanks to his charisma both on and off the court.
This may play a role in the popularity of his merchandise, as over the last year, 158,540 people have searched the internet for his No. 5 Timberwolves jersey. With his team taking a second-round exit in the 2025 playoffs, Edwards will be looking to improve his postseason record in 2026.
7. Luka Dončić (Los Angeles Lakers)
Slovenian guard Luka Dončić has had one of the fastest rises to stardom in recent NBA memory, becoming a standout player for the Dallas Mavericks before making a shocking move to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2025.
Known for his signature touch of “Luka Magic” that allows him to make shots from the most unexpected of positions, he has been a reliable hand for the team since joining.
The news of his Dallas Mavericks departure shook the NBA world, which could be part of why his jersey has proven so popular with fans. From September 2024 to September 2025, 143,400 Google searches were made for the No. 77 Lakers jersey. The five-time All-Star will be looking to add a sixth to his name as the 2025-26 season approaches.
8. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder)
Given his performance in the 2024-25 season, you might be surprised to see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ranking so low in our top ten. The Canadian guard not only led the Oklahoma City Thunder to their first NBA Championship, but he also earned the highest points per game total in the league (32.7), earning the NBA MVP title for his role in the team’s success.
SGA does have a mixed reputation among NBA fans, with some detractors labelling him a “free-throw merchant” on social media, but the numbers don’t lie when it comes to the popularity of his jersey.
Last year, 141,280 searches were made for his No. 2 OKC jersey, making it the eighth most in-demand in the league.
9. Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
After joining the Golden State Warriors in 2009, Steph Curry’s scoring ability saw him become a superstar in the mid-2010s, with his impressive three-pointers leading many to regard him as one of the best shooters in basketball history.
He has been a mainstay of the Warriors since his debut, having never played for another NBA team, and his skills helped secure four NBA Championships for the team.
Curry’s popularity has endured throughout his career, with his jersey still ranking among the best-sellers. Last year, his iconic No. 30 GSW jersey was searched for 137,970 times, ranking him at #9 in our data. In comparison, his Warriors teammate, Jimmy Butler, received 50,150 searches for his jersey (ranking at #22).
10. Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics)
Over the course of his time with the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum has received numerous accolades and cemented his status as one of the NBA’s top forwards. He’s a former NBA Champion (2024), a six-time All-Star, and holds the record for the most points scored in an All-Star game (55).
His No. 0 jersey is the tenth most in-demand in the league, with 135,780 searches last year. Tatum is also known for being one-half of the Celtics’ “Jays” duo alongside Jaylen Brown, who ranks at #17 with 66,020 searches.

The most in-demand NHL jerseys
Having covered our top 10 basketball jerseys, let’s now turn our attention to the most popular sportswear in the NHFL:
1. Aleksander Barkov (Florida Panthers)
As the captain of the back-to-back champion Florida Panthers, it’s no wonder that Finnish centre Aleksander Barkov would top our list of the most popular NHL jerseys. Known both as a fierce defender and top goal scorer, his versatility has made him a force to be reckoned with since joining the league in 2013.
His No. 16 jersey was searched for by 124,380 fans last year, making it the most in-demand uniform in the league. Unfortunately, Barkov’s 2025-26 season started with an injury that may put a dampener on his performance across the year.
Still, with such a dedicated fanbase behind him and his team, there’s every chance the Florida Panthers could be in for a historic three-peat.
2. William Nylander (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Since joining the NHL in 2015, William Nylander has been a mainstay of the Toronto Maple Leafs’ roster. He ranks as one of the top scorers in Maple Leafs history, with his performance in the 2024-24 season ranking him as the second most prolific scorer across the NHL that year.
Known for his speed and puck-handling abilities, he recently received the ‘Guldpucken’ award for the best Swedish ice hockey player.
Donning Toronto’s blue-and-white No. 88 jersey, his uniform received 119,300 searches from fans last year. This makes him one of just two NHL players to surpass the 100,000 jersey searches milestone.
3. Mark Scheifele (Winnipeg Jets)
Mark Scheifele was the first player drafted to the Winnipeg Jets following their relocation from Atlanta in 2011, and has since solidified himself as one of the team’s top stars. His goalscoring ability has made him the offensive focus of the roster, with his 2024-25 season total of 82 points matching his previous career best.
Scheifele wears the No. 55 jersey for the Jets, which has been searched for by fans 98,540 times on Google over the last year. This earns him a podium finish on our list of the most in-demand NHL jerseys this year.
4. Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers)
As the first overall draft pick in 2015, Connor McDavid has met the high expectations that were placed upon him before his debut.
Nicknamed “McJesus” by fans, he’s known for his offensive capabilities and puck handling, with many journalists naming him as one of the greatest NHL players of the modern era. He has led the league in points scored in five seasons since debuting.
The Oilers have seen plenty of postseason success over the last few years thanks to McDavid’s performance. The team has reached back-to-back finals, with the Panthers winning in both series, although McDavid earned the 2024 Playoffs MVP title. His No. 97 jersey was searched for 54,890 times last year.
5. Quinn Hughes (Vancouver Canucks)
Known for his agility on the ice and his defensive prowess, Quinn Hughes has risen in the ranks of the Vancouver Canucks since debuting in 2018, becoming the team’s captain in 2024. He ranks as the franchise’s seventh-best assist scorer of all time, with 350 over the course of his career, and he played in both the 2020 and 2024 NHL All-Star Games.
Hughes’ No. 43 jersey is the most in-demand of any active Canucks player, with 48,970 fans searching for the uniform between September 2024 and September 2025. His younger brother, Jack, was drafted first overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2019, but his jersey misses out on a place in our rankings.
6. Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Sidney Crosby is the longest-tenured NHL player in our top ten, boasting an impressive 20-year career that has seen him represent the Pittsburgh Penguins since his debut.
In that time, he has earned the team three Stanley Cups and has played in ten All-Star Games. He also ranks as the #1 assist scorer in Penguins history, and the second-most prolific goal and points scorer.
As one of the most successful Penguins players of all time, the fact that Crosby’s jersey is the team’s most popular is no surprise. Last year, 44,630 fans searched for his No. 87 jersey in Pittsburgh’s iconic black and yellow colors, cementing his popularity among NHL viewers.
7. Auston Matthews (Toronto Maple Leafs)
A formidable centre and captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews is often named as one of the best active players in the NHL. While he’s regarded as a strong all-rounder, his prolific goal scoring has been compared to legends of the sport like Alexander Ovechkin and Wayne Gretzky.
Matthews has led the league in goals in three seasons, with his 2023-24 record of 69 ranking as a career best. His No. 34 jersey for the Maple Leafs was searched for 32,090 times on Google last year. This makes him the player with the seventh-most in-demand NHL jersey, but he doesn’t have the most sought-after uniform on the current Maple Leafs roster.
8. Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay Lightning)
Tampa Bay Lightning captain Victor Hedman boasts the team’s most popular jersey on Google, with 28,170 searches made for his No. 77 uniform between September 2024 and September 2025. The defenceman beats close competition from his teammate, Brayden Point, to clinch an #8 finish.
Since debuting in the NHL in 2009, Hedman has amassed a long list of impressive accolades. He kicked off the 2020s with back-to-back Stanley Cup wins and has played in four NHL All-Star games over the course of his career. His 2021-22 season saw him earn the most points for the Lightning in franchise history (85).
9. Brayden Point (Tampa Bay Lightning)
Brayden Point is one of the most reliable hands on the Tampa Bay Lightning’s current roster. He is the fifth most prolific goalscorer in the franchise’s history, and has the sixth-most points scored of any Lightning player. He earned two Stanley Cups with the team (2020 and 2021), leading the playoffs in goals scored on both occasions.
Point’s No. 21 jersey has proven popular, as his uniform was searched for 27,950 times last year, making it one of the most in-demand pieces of NHL merchandise. The Tampa Bay Lightning ties with the Toronto Maple Leafs for the most players in our top ten, as both teams feature on our list twice.
10. Jesper Bratt (New Jersey Devils)
Just about making it into our top ten is New Jersey Devils forward Jesper Bratt. Since debuting for the team in 2017, Bratt has become one of their most valuable modern players, breaking into the top ten of the franchise’s all-time points and assists scorers.
His speed and puck skills have made him a deft attacker, far exceeding his initial expectations as a sixth-round draft pick. 24,580 searches were made for Bratt’s jersey last year, meaning he ranks ahead of other popular players like the Carolina Hurricanes’ Jaccob Slavin (#11) and Winnipeg Jets’ Kyle Connor (#12).
