Saturday’s World Cup Best Bets: A 17/1 four-fold for Saturday’s matches
England World Cup betting tips

England, Spain and Belgium are among the big names in action at the World Cup on Saturday.

Belgium, England and Spain all have work to do to confirm they finish top of their respective groups on what promises to be another lively day of World Cup action on Saturday.

There are six games taking place from 01:00 to 22:00 on Saturday as the group stages draw towards a conclusion.

In Group G, New Zealand take on Belgium in a game both teams need to win, while in Group H, Spain face Uruguay and Cape Verde will do battle with Saudi Arabia.

Group L will also wrap up on Saturday night, with Thomas Tuchel’s England needing to win to guarantee top spot.

Below are our four selections in the World Cup betting for Saturday’s acca, which pays out at 17/1 if successful.

Saturday’s Best Bets

  • Cape Verde to beat Saudi Arabia @ 13/10
  • Spain to beat Uruguay @ 4/9
  • Belgium to beat New Zealand and BTTS @ 19/10
  • England to beat Panama to nil @ 5/6

Pays out at 17/1

Minnows set for unlikely qualification

Cape Verde may be competing at their first-ever World Cup, but there is every chance they can finish second in Group H.

They started the tournament with a historic 0-0 draw against Spain before picking up another point in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Uruguay.

They now face Saudi Arabia as they look to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.

Saudi Arabia have won only one of their last 10 inside 90 minutes and should struggle in Houston.

Leg 1: Cape Verde to beat Saudi Arabia @ 13/10

La Roja can top the pile

The other game in Group H sees Spain and Uruguay meet in Zapopan and the former should have too much class for Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit.

Spain have only allowed eight touches inside their penalty box across their opening two games and Uruguay seem to have lost their way under Bielsa.

After a strong start under the former Leeds United boss, Uruguay have now won only five of their last 23 and Spain look to be hitting their stride after a slow start.

Leg 2: Spain to beat Uruguay @ 4/9

Red Devils can advance after sloppy start

Belgium are unbeaten after two draws, but Rudi Garcia’s troops should have done more against Egypt and Iran.

The Red Devils now face a New Zealand team that are winless in four and that have conceded five goals in two World Cup games.

New Zealand were hammered 4-0 by Haiti in a friendly before the World Cup and Belgium are better than the All Whites in all departments.

While they should come out on top, New Zealand will be going all out as they can still qualify for the knockout stages and they should be able to add to their three goals at the World Cup.

Leg 3: Belgium to beat New Zealand and BTTS @ 19/10

Three Lions to fire back in New York

England were a little toothless against Ghana on Tuesday, but they should bounce back against a Panama side that are yet to score a goal at this World Cup.

Panama have failed to score more than one goal in six of their last 10 and they should struggle to get a touch of the ball against Thomas Tuchel’s classy operators.

Leg 4: England to beat Panama to nil @ 5/6
