World Cup Tips: A 5/1 Bet Builder for England v Ghana
England World Cup betting tips

England made a strong start to the 2026 World Cup campaign by beating Croatia 4-2 and now the Three Lions head for Foxborough to face Ghana on Tuesday.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel was criticised in some quarters following his squad selection, but England impressed in the second half of the contest with Croatia and there may well be more to come from the Three Lions, who ran out 4-2 winners.

Ghana needed a last-gasp Caleb Yirenkyi strike to edge out Panama 1-0 and the Black Stars are now also in a strong position in Group L.

We’ve analysed the Foxborough fixture and studied the World Cup betting markets to put together a four-leg bet builder which pays out at 5/1 if successful.

England v Ghana Bet Builder Tips

  • England to win @ 2/9

  • Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13

  • Noni Madueke to score @ 13/8

  • Jordan Ayew to commit 2+ fouls @ 31/40

    Pays out at 5/1

Three Lions ready to roar

England produced an excellent second-half display in their 4-2 victory over Croatia and the Three Lions look ready to roar again.

Of course, it was an aging Croatia team, but they remain a top-level outfit and Zlatko Dalic’s men were blown away by the Three Lions.

Tuchel’s side hit 22 efforts on goal and created an expected goals figure of 3.20 in their opening World Cup contest and those numbers repeated should be too much for Ghana.

The Black Stars needed a last-gasp goal to beat Panama 1-0 and that was a contest in which Carlos Queiroz’s men had only two shots on target.

Ghana carried very little attacking threat against Panama and the Black Stars are unlikely to shine against England.

Leg 1: England to win @ 2/9

Goals to flow in Foxborough

England’s 4-2 victory over Croatia featured 32 efforts on goal and there should be plenty more entertainment when the Three Lions meet Ghana.

The Black Stars will look to sit in and make life difficult for Tuchel’s side, but Ghana will have a job stopping Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Noni Madueke and Anthony Gordon.

There are many more attack options open to Tuchel, who appears intent on going on the front foot and over 2.5 goals should land in Foxborough.

Leg 2: Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13

Madueke can star in Saka’s absence

Noni Madueke was the star of England’s opening World Cup contest and the Arsenal wide man can continue to impress.

Fellow Gunner Bukayo Saka is struggling with injury, meaning Madueke should keep his place on the right-hand side of England’s attack and the pace and direct running of the 24-year-old should be a major asset for the Three Lions.

Take Madueke to work his magic and find the net.

Leg 3: Noni Madueke to score @ 13/8

Aggressive Ayew heading for trouble

Jordan Ayew committed two fouls in Ghana’s 1-0 victory over Panama and that number should at least be equalled against England.

The former Crystal Palace forward will be the Black Stars’ first line of defence in a game which England should dominate, so there may be plenty of defensive work to be done by the 34-year-old.

Leg 4: Jordan Ayew to commit 2+ fouls @ 31/40
