Premier League: An 8/1 Bet Builder for Tottenham vs Liverpool

Recent meetings between Tottenham and Liverpool have been highly entertaining affairs and this could be another match to savour.

Both managers of Tottenham and Liverpool have been under pressure in recent weeks and a win on Saturday would be massive for either Thomas Frank or Arne Slot.

We have come up with a suggested Bet Builder for Saturday’s clash which, if successful, would return at 8/1.

Tottenham v Liverpool Bet Builder Tips

  • Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/13
  • Anytime Goalscorer – Hugo Ekitike @ 21/20
  • Player to be Carded – Milos Kerkez @ 3/1

Pays out at 8/1

Goals on the agenda

Both teams have had their problems this season, but their fans will expect them to take advantage of the other side’s deficiencies.

Of the top 12 in the Premier League, only Manchester United have conceded more goals than Liverpool – who have leaked 24 times in 16 league games.

An incredible 20 goals were scored in the four meetings between the two sides last season, including nine in this fixture when Liverpool ran out 6-3 winners.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 10 of the last 12 matchups and you have to go back to 2015 for the last time the teams played out a 0-0 draw.

Eight of Tottenham’s last nine games in all competitions have seen three or more goals scored, with Frank’s men finding the net eight times in their last four home matches.

Leg 1: Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/13

Hugo is the boss for Reds

A lot has been made of Alexander Isak’s struggles since his record move to Anfield, but his shortcomings have been covered by the form of Hugo Ekitike.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt star has impressed since his summer switch to the Premier League, with seven league goals to his name.

The Frenchman has scored four times in the last two league matches, with a brace against both Leeds and Brighton, helping Liverpool to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.

Stats show Ekitike has had 53 touches in the opposition penalty area and currently has an XG of 4.24.

Leg 2: Anytime Goalscorer – Hugo Ekitike @ 21/20

Kerkez facing Kudus test

Another of Liverpool’s summer signings that has struggled to make an impact is Milos Kerkez, but there have been promising signs from the Hungarian in recent weeks.

The former Bournemouth man played the full 90 minutes of the 2-0 win over Brighton and is expected to start at left-back on Saturday.

This will be another stern test for Kerkez, who is likely to be up against Mohamed Kudus, who has been fouled 13 times this season.

Liverpool’s full-back has already been booked three times and could have his hands full at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Leg 3: Player to be Carded – Milos Kerkez @ 3/1
