Arsenal have won their last three league games and opened up a three-point lead in the standings, and next take on a Palace side that has started to falter.
Arsenal are aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League when they welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s side have won six on the bounce in all competitions and are fresh from a 4-0 dismantling of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. They’ve also gone two league games without facing a shot on target — a feat only Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have managed before.
Palace, meanwhile, are wobbling. Oliver Glasner’s men have failed to win any of their last three games and were stunned by AEK Larnaca in midweek. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last seven and could be in for a long afternoon in north London.

Gyokeres to keep firing
Viktor Gyokeres ended his mini-drought in style with a brace against Atletico and looks set to lead the line again on Sunday.
The Swedish striker had scored just once in six league games before Tuesday’s double, but his movement and physicality were back to their best. With Palace leaking goals and struggling to defend crosses, Gyokeres could be the focal point once more.
He’s averaging just over two and a half shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League and has already scored five times at the Emirates this season. With confidence restored, he’s a strong candidate to find the net again.

Set-piece kings to rack up corners
Arsenal’s dominance under the guidance of set-piece coach Nicolas Jover continues to be a major weapon. They’ve scored 10 goals from dead-ball situations in just eight league games — the fastest any team has reached double figures in Premier League history.
That threat stems from relentless corner pressure. The Gunners are averaging 7.9 corners per game at home and won 10 against Fulham last weekend.
Palace, meanwhile, have faced 31 opposition corners in their four away trips this season, including 11 at Chelsea, 10 at Aston Villa and eight at West Ham.
With Arsenal’s wide play and overlapping full-backs, expect another flurry of flag kicks.

Palace’s shooting stars can produce again
Crystal Palace lead the Premier League for shots on target (43), xG (17.4) and big chances (33) this season while the Gunners have faced the fewest shots (65) and fewest shots on target.
So it will be interesting to see if Oliver Glasner’s side can maintain their levels of shot production at the top end of the pitch against a mean defence like Arsenal’s.
Arteta’s team have faced three or more shots on target in all of their league matches against current top-half clubs, including seven at Manchester United.
The fewest shots on target that the Eagles have produced in the Premier League this term has been three, which they did in a 3-0 win at Villa and a 2-1 victory over West Ham.
