The biggest game of the Premier League weekend takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday as Manchester City play host to Liverpool.
One of the biggest games of the Premier League season so far sees Manchester City host Liverpool on Sunday, with the pair both trying to chase down Arsenal at the top of the table.
This rivalry has been the defining one of the last five years in the English top flight and the duo will go head-to-head once again at the Etihad after rocky starts to the new campaign.

End-to-end affair likely
Liverpool’s title defence has been a disappointment thus far, with a recent run of four defeats on the spin contributing to them sitting seven points adrift of league leaders Arsenal after 10 games.
They have, however, won their last two matches against Aston Villa in the league and Real Madrid in Europe and would dearly love to get one over on their rivals Manchester City, against whom they have a good recent record.
Pep Guardiola’s side have only won one of the last eight league meetings between these two but considering the Reds’ struggles this season, it’s hard to have the utmost confidence in them.
Likewise, City have been overreliant on Erling Haaland’s goals and have lost three of their 10 league games, so do not make much appeal at quotes of odds-on.
The better play is for both teams to score, which has landed in nine of the last 12 meetings between the two.
Leg 1: Both teams to score @ 19/40
Salah can roll back the years
Mohamed Salah was always going to struggle to replicate his record-breaking campaign of last season but after a slow start, he has finally shown some signs that he may be getting back to his very best.
The Egyptian has scored in back-to-back Premier League games and has a phenomenal record against City, with 13 goals and eight assists in 23 appearances against the blue half of Manchester.
Salah has scored seven times in his last 10 league meetings with the Citizens and is a tempting price to add to that tally, particularly as he will be the Reds’ penalty taker.
Leg 2: Mohamed Salah to score at any time @ 11/5
Mac Allister a card candidate
Alexis Mac Allister was Liverpool’s star in midweek, scoring the only goal as they beat Real Madrid 1-0 at Anfield.
The Argentinian did also pick up a caution in that game and he was carded six times in the Premier League last season.
Likely to be kept busy against this City team, Mac Allister is a solid bet to be shown a card.
