Here are Will Rook‘s football tips for Leeds v Derby on Wednesday night.
Match to be a draw
Leeds have lost two of their last eight matches at Elland Road so, despite having Adam Forshaw and Kemar Roofe ruled out, it’s hard to see them losing in 90 minutes.
Derby drew three of their last five away games in the league, winning just one in nine, and will likely fall short on Wednesday.
Both teams to score
Leeds have only failed to score in two of their last 20 home games and have already netted seven against Derby this season.
Harry Wilson to score from outside the box
Derby barely had a sniff at Pride Park on Saturday, failing to have a single shot on target.
The Rams may be forced to go for the spectacular at Elland Road and there are few better in the Championship at scoring worldies than Wilson.
Nine of the Liverpool loanee’s 17 goals this season have come from outside the box, including five from direct free kicks.
Mateusz Klich to be carded
Klich is not above bending the rules or pushing the boundaries to help his team, as evidenced by his goal against Aston Villa when his side were expected to put the ball out of play.
The Polish midfielder has received 12 bookings this season, including four in his last five appearances with one at Pride Park on Saturday for a headbutt.
