The team first created a seed list of some of the most populated cities in the UK and the most popular staycation spots. Then, looking at the first page results for Fish & Chip shops on Google, the team picked the chippy with the highest rating and also the highest number of reviews (if there were many with the same rating) for each location before ranking each town/city using the following factors:
