Cowboys vs Eagles Picks & Predictions | NFL Week 7 2026

Our Cowboys vs Eagles betting picks for NFL Week 7 2026 include odds analysis, best bets, key matchups and picks for your same-game parlay

The NFL trade deadline is two weeks away, with contending teams’ primary needs coming into focus as we approach the halfway mark of the season.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, the need is clearly at wide receiver, after they were bludgeoned 20-3 by the Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle last night, with the Seahawks’ superlative defence holding the NFL’s leading rusher, Kenneth Walker III, to 36 yards on 14 attempts.

The Chiefs can’t make a big play downfield, which cost me on the betting front, since I had the Chiefs +2.5. The good news for me is I had Jaxon Smith-Njigba 90+ receiving yard in NFL betting at Betway, and he finished with an eye-opening 150 yards, and one touchdown. Everyone knew where the ball was going, but the Chiefs still couldn’t stop him.

Tonight’s Week 7 wraps up with the Dallas Cowboys (2-4) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, taking on the Eagles (2-4).

Game time is 8:15 p.m. EST, with game-time weather conditions of 60 degrees F and clear skies.

On the injury front, there’s been plenty of writing and talk over the past seven days about Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his blood clot situation. Blame whoever you are going to blame, but the bottom line is the Eagles will be without their Super Bowl QB for the rest of the season. Tanner McKee starts for the Eagles tonight.

The bigger injury question mark for tonight, that directly impacts bettors, is running back Saquon Barkley, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. But he’s a real possibility to return, from what I’ve been reading. No official confirmation as yet.

The Eagles are also without their top two receivers – DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, both ruled out. TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is expected to play, and G Landon Dickerson (knee) and LB Jonathan Greenard are questionable, according to ESPN.

On the Dallas side of the ball, S P.J. Locke (foot), LB Marist Liufau (forearm), OT Drew Shelton (hamstring), LB Dee Winters (calf), WR KaVontae Turpin (ribs) are all out.

Key matchup to digest if you’re betting? Obviously, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Dallas receivers versus Philadelphia’s pass defence. The Cowboys enter the game averaging 267.2 passing yards per game, seventh in the NFL, while the Eagles are surrendering 244.5 passing yards per game, 25th in the league. Prescott can choose between two elite receivers, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Lamb has 577 receiving yards through six games.

Then there’s Philadelphia’s depleted offence versus Dallas’ struggling defence. The Cowboys rank 30th in total defence, allowing 149.8 rushing yards per game, second-worst in the NFL. That’s red meat for Barkley.

Here are my Cowboys vs Eagles picks.

Cowboys vs Eagles Odds

In NFL picks at Betway, the Cowboys are big -225 moneyline favourites, with the Eagles +185. Dallas is favoured by 4.5 points (-110), while Philadelphia is +4.5 points (-110). The total is set at 43.5, with the Over/Under at -110.

Dallas is the clear favourite, but the 4.5-point spread suggests Philadelphia can keep this NFC East game close. If you’re betting the Dallas spread, you need them to win by five points. That modest 43.5-point total suggests the market expects a more controlled, lower-scoring game.

Cowboys vs Eagles Betting Trends

The Cowboys are just 1-7 against the spread as road favourites since 2024, while Philadelphia is 6-2 ATS as an underdog over that period.

Cowboys vs Eagles Betting Picks

I almost want to skip this game, because I hate the Cowboys so much. I’ve been burned twice by them so far this season. And we’re only in Week 7!

However, here we are, and where do we go? Dallas has struggled the past few games, but the Eagles’ vulnerable secondary gives the Cowboys a chance to rebound.

I don’t know. Looking at the matchups and the stats, my brain says the Cowboys, again. They can’t figure out a way to screw this one up, can they? The New York Giants, 100% under J.J. McCarthy (20-for-28, 252 yards) at quarterback now, coming off that impressive 27-21 overtime win over Houston, are now 4-2 and pulling away in the NFC East.

Huge fan of Lamb – take 7+ at -130, since 5+ at -550 is too pricey, and 6+ is -260, still too costly. He’s Prescott’s primary receiving weapon, recording at seven receptions in four of his six games this season.

I am also leaning Goedert 50+ receiving yards, at -125. The Eagles are without their top receiving target in Smith. Goedert caught six for 61 yards last week against Carolina and Dallas’ defence stinks.

Finally, Eagles +4.5. Why? Because it’s the Cowboys. Confirm Barkley’s status before going this route.

Cowboys vs Eagles Same Game Parlay

If you’re looking at parlay options for tonight, why not Eagles +4.5, Lamb 80+ receiving yards and Under 44.5 (a healthy combined +700)?
