Bills vs Rams Picks & Predictions | NFL Week 5 2026

Our Bills vs Rams betting picks for NFL Week 5 2026 include odds analysis, best bets, key matchups and picks for your same-game parlay

In what could be a Super Bowl preview, the 3-1 Buffalo Bills head to SoFi Stadium in California tonight to take on the 2-2 L.A. Rams. Game time is 8:15 p.m. EST.

If you’re a Bills fan, you’re a little nervous these days, particularly about the defence. The Bills have MVP Josh Allen at quarterback, yet people keep saying the Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC’s best team.

In NFL picks, the Rams are Super Bowl futures favourites at +625, followed by the Bills (+750), then the Baltimore Ravens (+800), Chiefs (+800), San Francisco 49ers (+800), Seattle Seahawks (+1000), and Jacksonville Jaguars (+1200).

Betway odds for AFC winner: Ravens +375, Bills +375, Chiefs +400, Jaguars +500, and New England Patriots +900.

The Bills just surrendered 29 points in that loss to New England last weekend in Buffalo. Allen hasn’t consistently looked as sharp, having to deny this week that he has a nagging knee injury, and the offence has struggled to sustain drives.

The Bills beat the 1-4 Texans in Week 1, gave up 31 points to the Lions in Week 2, and struggled to beat the Chargers in Week 3, giving up five turnovers, before falling to the Patriots 29-26.

That Patriots game exposed many problems. The Bills could have established early control of the AFC East, but now face defensive breakdowns, penalties, and inconsistent offensive execution, leading people to question whether the organization has addressed the weaknesses that undermined previous playoff rounds.

It’s not going to get any easier tonight. QB Matthew Stafford and the Rams lead the NFL in total offence with 417 yards per game. Bills’ pass defence has struggled, and that only gets worse with defensive tackle Ed Oliver out with an injury.

The Bills won’t go anywhere if they keep relying on their MVP quarterback to do it for them, especially as they try to overcome those defensive shortcomings. The Rams game will tell us whether these are early-season growing pains or more serious problems.

The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 10.

Injuries are mounting for the Bills. Oliver and receiver Joshua Palmer have been ruled out for the Rams game. WJ DJ Moore is questionable. CB Dee Alford (ankle) and CB Te’Cory Couch (hamstring) are questionable.

The Rams are missing DE Myles Garrett (knee), TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle), RB Ronnie Rivers (calf), while S Quentin Lake (hip) is questionable.

Key matchups for tonight’s game, from a betting perspective? Stafford, and wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams versus the Bills’ secondary, first and foremost. A big mismatch, considering those Bills’ secondary injuries. Christian Benford has been dealing with a toe injury as well, but I don’t see him on the injury list this morning.

Rams star DE Aaron Donald is playing tonight. So that’s another matchup: Allen versus the Rams’ pass rush. The Rams must balance pressure with Allen’s ability to scramble, which puts Allen rushing and anytime TD props in sharper focus.

Here are my Bills vs Rams picks.

Bills vs Rams Odds

In NFL betting at Betway, the Rams are -170 moneyline favourites against the Bills (+145). Los Angeles is also a 3.5-point spread favourite at -105, while Buffalo is getting 3.5 points at -120. The over/under is set at 54.5 points, with the over at -105 and the under priced at -115.

Bills vs Rams Betting Trends

Bills are 3-1 against the spread this season, and the over has cashed in in three of their four games, according to NBC Sports. The Over is 4-2 in the last six Bills-Rams games, including that 44-42 Rams’ win in 2024

Plus, Rams home games have tended to be lower-scoring than sportsbooks expected. Los Angeles is 2-0 to the under at SoFi this season.

Bills vs Rams Betting Picks

This hurts, since I am a Bills fan, but I am leaning Rams’ -3.5. The Rams are at home, Donald is back, and that Stafford advantage over a depleted Bills’ secondary will be too much to overcome. Oliver’s absence is huge for the Bills.

Bills’ offence is explosive, but the Rams defence is solid – leading the NFL in yards per game (247.5). Their pass defence is No. 1 (145.5 yards per game).

That’s too much for the Bills to overcome. It’s time to focus on the trade deadline and look at ways to bolster that defence if they expect to take a meaningful run at a Super Bowl.

I’m also backing Allen to score an anytime touchdown (-120). Allen has scored in every game this season (7 rushing TDs through four games), and he’ll go beast mode tonight to try and single-handedly push his team to a road win. Allen is a dominant red-zone threat, making this an appealing touchdown prop at a reasonable price.

I am also taking that Under 54.5 at -115. Both offences can score, yes, but it’s in the Bills’ interest to control the clock, especially around RB James Cook, and sustain longer drives. Running the football makes sense.

Plus, if the Rams can pressure Allen and disrupt their passing game, it could lead to stalled drives and field goals. And 54.5 is a big number.

Bills vs Rams Same Game Parlay Picks

I am going with Allen anytime touchdown and Nacua 70+ receiving yards for a combined +150 at Betway. Allen is Buffalo’s most dangerous goal-line weapon, and Nacua is coming off nine receptions for 125 yards against Philadelphia. He is Stafford’s primary receiving target.
