Liverpool v Arsenal betting tips
Arsenal to win – 7/5
Both teams to score – 7/10
Alexander Isak to score – 13/8
Kai Havertz to take 1+ shot on target – 1/2
Arsenal to win
After their unexpected loss on penalties to Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup in midweek, Mikel Arteta’s men will be looking for a reaction as they play an in-form Liverpool team.
Unbeaten in the Premier League in their last three, however, Arsenal have their sights set on top spot as they sit level on 21 points with Manchester City.
Before that penalty shootout loss, the Gunners had won four of their previous five games, with the only exception a 2-2 draw away at Bayern Munich, which can only be seen as a positive result.
Liverpool have turned their form around recently, but a 3-0 home defeat to Manchester City in early October lives long in the memory and they’ve already dropped points on four occasions in the Premier League this season.
Both teams to score
Liverpool have also been in fine attacking form, and have netted in six of eight matches at Anfield in all competitions. The Reds put two past an in-form Brighton in their last Premier League outing and four against Villareal in the Champions League, with attackers who can add to their tally here.
Despite missing Bukayo Saka through injury, Arsenal will be looking to capitalise against a Liverpool team who have only kept one clean sheet since the end of September. Mikel Arteta’s side have scored in seven of their eight away games this season.
Alexander Isak to score
Isak struggled with form and injuries in his first season with Liverpool, but the Swedish striker has made a strong start to this campaign.
With six goals from seven Premier League appearances so far, including three in his last three, Isak is in great form heading into this game, so looks a nice bet to score. He has scored twice in five previous games against Arsenal for Liverpool and Newcastle.
Kai Havertz to take 1+ shot on target
Havertz is likely to have an important role in the Gunners attack, particularly in the absence of Saka. Viktor Gyokeres started up front for Arsenal against Fleetwood with Havertz in a deeper role, but the German is regularly trusted by Arteta to lead the line in big games such as this one.
Havertz has had already taken 14 shots this season, nearly matching his entire total for the 2025/26 campaign – 18. He’s hit the target eight times in his last 10 Premier League games.
Liverpool v Arsenal odds
The two teams are unsurprisingly close in the odds, but Arsenal’s superior defence should be enough for them to come out on top.
If Liverpool continue to show improved form but ultimately fall short against the Premier League champions, this 14/1 football betting Bet Builder has a good chance.
