The Premier League returns on Sunday with five matches, including Liverpool’s clash with Brighton and Manchester United v Bournemouth.
Leeds aim to to keep up their decent start at Sunderland, while Crystal Palace host Newcastle and Hull play Brentford.
We pick out a selection from four of the matches in our football betting acca, including another bad day for Michael Carrick at Old Trafford.
Here are our football betting Tips, making a 24/1 total bet.
Hull City v Brentford tips
Hull take on Brentford in what looks set to be a tight, low-margin game.
It does feel a bit like Hull’s early-season burst is over, Sergej Jakirovic’s having gone five league games without a win, but they are still competitive.
None of the Tigers’ last six matches have been decided by more than one goal, while only one of Brentford’s last six in the league have been won by more than a single strike.
All but one of the Bees’ last 13 league away games have been drawn or decided by one goal, too, so our angle is based on this game being tight.
It seems unlikely there will be a comfortable winner, so backing either team to come out on top by one is a nice bet at an odds-against price of / .
Liverpool v Brighton tips
Liverpool host Brighton in an eagerly-anticipated encounter, with the visitors aiming to keep in touch at the top of the Premier League.
Backing goals is the play, though, considering Fabian Hurzeler’s side are comfortably the top scorers in the division.
They have scored 15 goals in their last four matches, so can keep up their side of the bargain here, but backing Liverpool to find the net also makes sense.
Andoni Iraola’s side have hit some form of their own, scoring 12 goals in their last three games.
BTTS & over 2.5 goals is the obvious bet at / .
Manchester United v Bournemouth tips
It is very hard to back Manchester United to win any match in their current guise, so getting Bournemouth on side is the obvious route here.
Michael Carrick’s side are without a win in seven matches in all competitions, with their manager’s job seemingly hanging by a thread.
Both teams were in action in midweek, but while United lost 4-1 at Como, Bournemouth hammered AC Milan 3-0.
The Cherries have now won three straight matches 3-0, 2-0 and 3-0, building confidence after a sticky start, and have scored 10 goals on their last three visits to Old Trafford.
They are unbeaten in their last six against United overall and backing them in the draw no bet market at / means we get our money back if this ends level.
Sunderland v Leeds tips
Sunderland are struggling with the demands of juggling Premier League and European football, sitting bottom of the table after four straight defeats.
They hadn’t necessarily performed poorly until last weekend’s 2-0 reverse at Bournemouth, but the midweek draw at Lech Poznan is not a great result either.
Considering their underlying numbers were not as good as their seventh-place finish last season suggested, a drop-off was always likely – and Leeds can rub salt into the wounds here.
Daniel Farke’s side haven’t actually won since demolishing Newcastle 4-1 last month but continue to be competitive and come up against fatigued opposition. They can be backed at / .
