World Cup Tips: An 18/1 Bet Builder for Norway v England
England World Cup betting tips

A place in the World Cup semi-finals is at stake on Saturday night when Norway, conquerors of Brazil, take on England in Miami.

England showed tremendous battling spirit to hold onto a 3-2 World Cup last-16 victory over Mexico, but now the Three Lions are tasked with stopping an Erling Haaland-inspired Norway.

The Red, White and Blue produced an excellent second-half display to beat Brazil and set up a quarter-final clash with England in Miami.

It is an intriguing contest and we’ve analysed the stats and browsed the World Cup betting markets for a bet builder which, if successful, returns odds of around 18/1 with Betway.

Goals to flow in Miami

England’s victory over co-hosts Mexico was a contender for game of the tournament, with the Azteca contest containing five goals, two penalties, a red card and no end of drama.

The Three Lions were forced to dig in and defend following Jarell Quansah’s 54th-minute dismissal, with Thomas Tuchel’s men able to hang on to the victory.

However, England did concede 20 shots, 13 crosses and 12 corners and balls into the box caused them huge problems.

Tuchel’s men were unable to stop crosses in their problem full-back areas, while centre-back pairing Ezri Konza and Marc Guehi weren’t convincing when dealing with high balls into the box.

Norway have the brilliant Erling Haaland, who has scored seven World Cup goals and the Manchester City forward will be relishing a crack at England’s defence.

However, the Red, White and Blue have shipped nine goals in the tournament and they conceded an expected goals total of 2.61 in their last-16 win over Brazil.

Leg 1: Both teams to score @ 8/13

Gordon can open his account

Anthony Gordon was England’s biggest threat in wide areas against Mexico and the Barcelona man looks ready to strike.

The 25-year-old is yet to score at the World Cup, but he won the penalty which Harry Kane converted against Mexico and he has done enough to retain his starting spot.

Gordon scored 10 goals in the 2025-26 Champions League for Newcastle United, proving he has the quality to deliver in the biggest matches.

Leg 2: Anthony Gordon anytime goalscorer @ 9/4

Ryerson can take aim

England have a clear issue at right-back and they are sweating over the fitness of Reece James, who is being fast-tracked in his injury recovery for this quarter-final.

Talented youngster Nico O’Reilly has also looked defensively fragile at left-back and Norway will be looking to attack the wide areas.

Julian Ryerson is an excellent attacking full-back, who has the lethal Haaland to aim for in the box, and he will be aiming to get the ball into the box as much as possible.

Ryerson assisted 17 times for Borussia Dortmund in the 2025-26 season and he could notch another against England.

Leg 3: Julian Ryerson 1+ assists @ 5/1
