The Netherlands had to settle for a point against Japan in their World Cup opener as they were pegged back twice in a 2-2 draw and now they face a Sweden start who made a blistering start by thrashing Tunisia 5-1.
Both of these teams looked sharp in attack in their opening games, but they also showed signs of vulnerability in defence, that suggests we could see plenty of chances for both sides so the focus in this bet builder is on the goals and shots markets.
We’ve analysed the stats and scoured the World Cup betting markets and this combination pays out at 33/1 if it comes in.
Netherlands v Sweden Bet Builder Tips
Ryan Gravenberch anytime goal or assist @ 14/5
Viktor Gyokeres to score at any time @ 9/4
Crysencio Summerville 2+ shots on target @ 5/2

Gravenberch can make a crucial impact
Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch provided the assists for both of the Oranje’s goals against Japan and he can follow that up by either setting up a team-mate or getting on the scoresheet himself here.
Gravenberch operates primarily as a defensive midfielder for his club, but has a bit more license to get forward for the Dutch, so he should be able to create a few chances against the Swedes.
The 24-year-old didn’t have a single shot against Japan but he will be coming up against what looks a weaker defence on Saturday.
Sweden have gone 12 games without a clean sheet and Gravenberch averaged exactly one shot per game for the Netherlands in World Cup qualifying, so he may get a few chances and looks capable of either scoring or providing an assist.
Leg 1: Ryan Gravenberch anytime goal or assist @ 14/5
Gyokeres stands out as Swedes’ main threat
Sweden boast an impressive attacking pair in Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres and the latter looks the better option for an anytime goal.
Both players opened their World Cup accounts against Tunisia and both also recorded assists, but Gyokeres found himself on the end of more chances with five shots to Isak’s three.
The Arsenal striker has now scored in back-to-back games as he was on target in the warm-up clash with Greece and he has the tools to hurt this Dutch defence.
Gyokeres provides an aerial threat and the Netherlands looked vulnerable when defending set-pieces against Japan, who scored their second equaliser from a corner, so the Swedish forward looks like a genuine contender to get on the scoresheet.
Leg 2: Viktor Gyokeres to score at any time @ 9/4
Summerville to test Swedish keeper
Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman may be tempted to make a couple of changes to his side for the second group stage game, but West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville should keep his spot after starring against the Samurai Blue.
Summerville scored the second Dutch goal in the opening round of fixtures and looked a constant threat as part of their attacking trio.
The 24-year-old averaged 1.7 shots per game for a poor Hammers team in the Premier League this season and had a shooting accuracy rate of around 30 per cent.
At a big price, he looks worth backing for at least two shots on target against Sweden.
Leg 3: Crysencio Summerville 2+ shots on target @ 5/2
