Our NFL Week 15 four-fold includes two favourites and two underdogs who are fancied to defy their handicaps in Sunday's games as the NFL's 32 teams have just four games left to earn a playoff place.
The four-fold pays out at 13/1 if successful.
NFL Week 15 four-fold
Cincinnati Bengals +2.5 vs Baltimore Ravens @ 10/11
Los Angeles Chargers +5.5 vs Kansas City Chiefs @ 10/11
New York Giants -2.5 vs Washington Commanders @ 20/21
Carolina Panthers -2.5 vs New Orleans Saints @ 5/6
Bengals can complete quickfire Ravens double
Cincinnati Bengals’ dream that quarterback Joe Burrow would return from the injury that kept him out for most of the season and lead them to the playoffs looks unrealistic now.
However, Joe Cool was able to lead the team to a 32-14 road win over Baltimore Ravens just two weeks ago and they can complete a quickfire season sweep of their rivals at home on Sunday.
The Bengals are 4-9 after last week’s 39-34 road defeat to Buffalo Bills and in line to be the next AFC team eliminated from playoff contention, but that was another solid effort against a strong team and they won’t fear the Ravens after their recent success in Maryland, where their much-maligned defence forced five turnovers.
The Ravens were among the favourites in the AFC this season, but they have not looked themselves at all in recent weeks and are also on course to miss the playoffs, standing at 6-7 after last week’s costly 27-22 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The teams’ last meeting in Cincinnati went to overtime and the small handicap start the Bengals are receiving could be crucial.
Chargers could add to misery of fallen Chiefs
We appear to be witnessing the end of an era in the AFC this season and Kansas City Chiefs’ fall from grace could continue in their AFC West meeting with Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chiefs have appeared in an incredible seven successive AFC Championship games, but they head into Week 15 this season in third place in the division they have won every year since 2016 and ranked only 10th in the conference with a 6-7 record.
Andy Reid’s team have lost four of their last five games after last week’s 20-10 home loss to Houston Texans and the 9-4 Chargers can show they are no back-markers by at least staying within five points of the home side.
The visitors have won five of their last six games, beating defending Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles last week, while they opened this season with a 27-21 win over the Chiefs in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in Week 1.
Giants to stand tall over Commanders
Washington Commanders and New York Giants are already eliminated from playoff contention in the NFC East, but unless they play out a tie, one of them will break a long losing streak in Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants have lost seven in a row to fall to 2-11, but the 3-10 Commanders can top that as they arrive on an eight-game losing run.
The Giants have certainly shown more spark in recent weeks, losing by seven or fewer points to the Bears, Packers and Lions before a more one-sided 33-15 defeat to the Patriots last week.
While they are 0-8 on the road, the Giants are 2-3 at home and can even up that record as the Commanders have bigger problems at the moment.
The visitors will be switching back to Marcus Mariota at quarterback after another injury to Jayden Daniels and they are coming off an embarrassing 31-0 shutout by a Minnesota Vikings team who had not won any of their previous four.
Panthers set for revenge win over Saints
Carolina Panthers’ 17-7 home defeat by New Orleans Saints in Week 10 was one of the most baffling scores of the season, but the NFC South leaders have the talent to avenge that loss when they visit the Superdome.
The Panthers have been handed a great opportunity to take control of the NFC South after Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost at home to Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night and they should take it.
Carolina impressed when beating a strong Los Angeles Rams team 31-28 at home last week and, while the Saints did them a favour when beating the Bucs in Week 14, they have not won back-to-back games this season and may struggle to keep up with the Panthers this time.
