There is set to be another intriguing battle to see who comes out on top in the award for the NFL Coach of the Year in the 2025 season, and here we pick out our three top picks from the betting market.
Here are three contenders to consider who offer up some attractive NFL betting prices to scoop the individual accolade.
Best bets for NFL Coach of the Year
Johnson can bring life to Bears
With Ben Johnson now steering the ship at Soldier Field and a productive offseason of recruitment behind them, there looks to be real value in backing the Bears to reach the playoffs this year.
The new head coach’s reputation for offensive ingenuity could be exactly what this franchise has been crying out for.
Quarterback Caleb Williams, meanwhile, enters his sophomore season wiser and more battle-tested after the ups and downs of his rookie campaign.
That first year in the NFL often proves the steepest learning curve, and Williams now appears well placed to take a major step forward in both confidence and consistency.
If Johnson can unlock that extra level from his young quarterback, the duo could quickly develop into one of the league’s most exciting coach/QB partnerships.
With the right blend of tactical creativity and individual progression, Chicago may well find themselves in the postseason picture sooner than many anticipated.
Ben Johnson – Coach of the Year @ 6/1
Vrabel out to revive Patriots
Former New England linebacker Mike Vrabel heads back to the Patriots as their new head coach, with the franchise in desperate need of a lift.
Finishing last season rock-bottom of the AFC East, with a 4-13 record, it was a campaign to forget for New England fans, who were once so used to challenging for and winning Super Bowls.
The only was is really up for the Pats and, having impressed with his work with the Tennessee Titans, Vrabel could be the man to help steer the ship at Gillette Stadium.
Winner of the Coach of the Year award back in 2021 when he helped the Titans finish their season with an impressive 12-5 record, Vrabel knows what it takes to secure this accolade and is good value to repeat the feat this term.
Mike Vrabel – Coach of the Year @ 8/1
Near-perfect Ravens season could see Harbaugh named
While the winner of the Coach of Year award does not often go to the coach of the eventual Super Bowl winners, it can happen and might this season for title contenders the Baltimore Ravens and their head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Another previous winner of this award, Harbaugh has scooped the award twice in his career already, in both 2011 and 2019.
Doing so with two different teams in the San Francisco 49ers and the Ravens, Harbaugh can potentially repeat the feat with Baltimore this season.
Given the talents in this Ravens roster, it will require a near-perfect season from Baltimore to land Harbaugh the prize but he’s certainly worthy considering as an outside shot.
Jim Harbaugh – Coach of the Year @ 20/1
