Forget on-the-field matters - this is where to put your money before, during and after America's biggest sporting event...

National anthem length – Under 2 minutes 10 seconds ({ODDS:133319900:5/6})
In a departure from the recent trend of female warblers performing the Star Spangled Banner, country singer Luke Bryan is the man trusted with kicking off the show this year.
He is the first male singer to do so since 2007, when Billy Joel performed the second-shortest rendition since 2000 at just one minute and 30 seconds.
Bryan’s version will be longer than that, but don’t expect it to stretch far past the two-minute mark.
Only Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys have gone over 129 seconds in the past seven years, and the average anthem length since 2000 is just one minute and 54 seconds.
Bryan’s performance at the 2012 MLB All-Star game lasted exactly two minutes, so backing under two minutes and 10 seconds at {ODDS:133319900:5/6} is the smart move here.
Coin toss – Heads ({ODDS:133468486:19/20})
Tails have come up in three consecutive Super Bowls. It can’t happen again. Right?
Any player to kneel during the national anthem – No ({ODDS:134461322:9/4})
After Colin Kaepernick led a movement of players demonstrating during the national anthem this season, there is a chance some could take advantage of the huge exposure to make a political statement here.
The value, however, is in backing against anyone doing so at {ODDS:134461322:9/4}.
In total, 47 NFL players protested during the Star Spangled Banner this season, but only two of those will be playing in this game: Devin McCourty and Martellus Bennett, both of the Patriots.
They both raised their fists during the anthem in Week 1, and have not done so since.
Given that only 10 of the 47 players protested by kneeling, it seems unlikely that any will not stand during the anthem on Sunday night.

Lady Gaga’s first song – Born This Way ({ODDS:133319334:5/1})
This is the big one that we have been debating in the office all week.
At {ODDS:133319311:8/11}, Bad Romance is a daunting favourite. The signature intro, the big chorus, the soaring synths – it’s got it all.
That’s the problem, though. It is too predictable.
Considering the political turmoil in the United States at the moment, an artist like Lady Gaga surely wants to make a bold statement with her first song.
Just look at what she said this week: “I believe in a passion for inclusion, I believe in the spirit of equality.
“America’s essence is love and kindness and I my performance will uphold those philosophies.”
Inclusion. Equality. Love. Kindness. They all point to one option.

Lady Gaga outfit changes – 3 ({ODDS:134462538:3/1})
Gaga is just as famous for her sartorial choices as she is her music, so a range of outfits will surely be on show here.
Madonna went for two changes in 2012, and Katy Perry upped it to three just two years ago.
That seems like the limit, given the impracticality of dressing and undressing while trying to squeeze six or seven songs between two halves of American football.
So three outfits – priced at {ODDS:134462538:3/1} – is a sensible bet.
Don’t expect the meat dress to be one of them, though.

Gatorade shower colour – Orange ({ODDS:133319705:9/2})
Perhaps the strangest tradition of the Super Bowl is the Gatorade shower, where the coach of the winning team has a drum of energy drink poured over his head.
With transparent priced at {ODDS:133321208:8/11}, there is a clear favourite this year. But not since 2008 coach has a winning coach been doused by colourless liquid.
The Falcons showered coach Dan Quinn with yellow Gatorade when they won the NFC Championship game two weeks ago, and a repeat is good value at {ODDS:133319683:9/4}.
Orange is the best bet, though. It has been hugely popular in recent years, having been chosen four times since 2010, and is a decent price at {ODDS:133319705:9/2}.
Colour of car awarded to MVP – Black ({ODDS:134461809:9/2})
Along with the Lombardi and Pete Rozelle trophies, the Super Bowl MVP winner often gets the bonus of a shiny new car.
The choice of colour has been relatively conservative, with white chosen once, black twice and red three times on the last six occasions that a vehicle has been presented.
Assuming that theme will be stuck to, you can rule out pink and yellow this year.
At the generous price of {ODDS:134461809:9/2}, black looks like the best bet.
