5 NFL Sunday picks: Dolphins to jump for joy against Titans

New interim head coach Dan Campbell will reinvigorate the Miami side in Tennessee and four other victories to add to your accumulator

11/10 – Miami Dolphins to beat the Tennessee Titans

It has been a week of firings since the Miami Dolphins returned from Wembley, with head coach Joe Philbin and most of his staff relieved of their positions after a dismal start.

However, Dan Campbell is the new person in charge and a change of leadership could be exactly what this talented but underperforming squad needs.

The Titans have impressed sporadically but do not have enough to punish teams like they should have done last week against the Bills.

That and the potential for a resurgence from the Florida team makes this is a fine price.

5/9 – Arizona Cardinals to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers

The always-attacking Arizona Cardinals demolished the Detroit Lions in a first-half stomping last week.

Carson Palmer impressed again, while his side’s defence suffocated their opponents and knowing Bruce Arians, he will not allow their standards to drop again.

The Steelers got a little lucky on Monday night – Michael Vick almost threw a few interceptions – and those mistakes will be capitalised on by a ball-hawking defence.

Pittsburgh may try and lean on Le’Veon Bell but when he is slowed down, they will have no escape from the overwhelming Cardinals.

21/20 – Houston Texans to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars

Houston have lacked rhythm so far this season and are considering another quarterback change, but they should beat Jacksonville on Sunday.

Their defence should be playing – especially with a player like JJ Watt – and this is exactly the game they need to provide a boost of confidence.

The Jags have been good in spells this season, but the team is dead for the next few weeks because of the injury to Blake Bortles.

He has shown real improvement but with a backup QB now having to play, the Texans should enable Arian Foster to wear down the opposition defence and steal a vital win.

10/17 – Cincinnati Bengals to beat the Buffalo Bills

The Bengals must have felt incredible last weekend.

They were far behind the Seattle Seahawks for a long period but rallied to win in overtime – a sign of a superb team that is going to be tough to stop this season.

The Bills have struggled after their positive start – mainly due to injuries to key offensive personnel – and that run will not be arrested this week.

No Tyrod Taylor means no explosion – he won them the game last week –  so this should be another easy victory for the undefeated Cincinnati side.

5/13 – New York Jets to beat the Washington Redskins

Coming off of a bye, the Jets now know that they really have a shot of making the playoffs this year – something no-one would have said at the start of the campaign.

Todd Bowles has turned things around and this stout defence is only about to deliver more pain as Sheldon Richardson returns to the best defensive front in the country.

The Redskins have been impressive on defence, too, but cannot close things out offensively like the Jets.

With more playmakers in New York and a genuine contender for the best defence in the league, the Jets are too difficult to resist this weekend.

A £10 bet on the five-fold accumulator returns £147.26*.
