'I won’t be afraid to tell you what I think,' promises the Irish champion jump jockey, who will provide a weekly blog for the Betway Insider
We are proud to announce that two-time Irish champion jump jockey Davy Russell has become a Betway brand ambassador.
Russell, who won the Cheltenham Gold Cup on Lord Windermere in 2014, will provide a weekly blog for the Betway Insider, giving his thoughts on his rides and other high-profile horses and races in Ireland.
The 36-year-old will also provide daily blogs during the Cheltenham, Aintree, Punchestown and Galway Festivals and appear at our sponsored racedays.
“I have a reputation for saying what I think and I’m excited to start my Betway blog,” said Russell.
“I’ll be riding some very nice horses over the next few months and I won’t be afraid to tell you what I think about the horses I’m riding and those I’m not.
“The Irish jump racing scene is in rude health at the moment and hopefully we’ll be coming back from Cheltenham with another batch of big winners in March.”
