The new-format World Cup is made up of seven different stages since it now contains 48 teams, rather than the 32 teams it had in the previous format.
It begins with the group stage, which lasts for two weeks, before moving into the round of 32 for six days, the round of 16 for four days, quarter-finals for three days, semi-finals for two days, and the bronze final and final.
