Belgium’s route to the World Cup final starts with a round of 32 clash with Senegal. This won’t be a walkover, but the Belgians will be hopeful they can tackle the early hurdle posed by the African outfit.
With USA considered their likeliest round of 16 opponent, Belgium will be battling against not only their opponents but home advantage too. The USA have only reached the quarter finals once – a generation ago in 2002 – however, so the Europeans will be hoping history is on their side.
Onto the quarter finals, Belgium could line up against Spain. Though La Roja are fresh off winning the Euros in 2024, Cape Verde proved in the group stage that they can be stopped – so the Red Devils will know that anything can happen in a one-off contest.
