We asked Stevo the Madman to take training with a twist as the Hammers prepare for the start of the new Premier League season.
They say it’s always good to keep footballers on their toes.
So, ahead of the start of the new season, we decided to organise a surprise training session for some of the West Ham players.
And who better to take charge for one afternoon only than former footballer, social media extraordinaire and Hammers fan Stevo the Mad Man?
The drill was simple: a classic game of heads and volleys with the aim of scoring 10 goals as quickly as possible.
Putting their techniques to the test were Pablo Zabaleta, Aaron Cresswell, Pedro Obiang and Ashley Fletcher, appearing in his final session before moving to Middlesbrough.
Whether his fluffed bicycle kick had something to do with his departure, we cannot say.
But, with West Ham {ODDS:164166882:9/1} to beat Manchester United on the opening weekend in the latest football betting, which players would impress the stand-in gaffer with their finishing skills?
And, after finding themselves stuck in goal when the last shot went in, who would be subjected to the traditional playground punishment?
