Here are Will Rook‘s football betting tips for Wolves v Newcastle on Monday night.
Wolves to win
Wolves come into this with four wins from their last five matches in all competitions and four straight victories at Molineux.
They have to be fancied to beat a Newcastle side that has claimed just one point from their last four away games in the Premier League and managed just two victories on the road this season.
Raul Jimenez to score
Jimenez has bagged four goals in his last four appearances in all competitions for Wolves, including a brace against West Ham in their last league game at Molineux.
The Mexican averages three shots per game in the Premier League – the sixth-most of any player with over five appearances – and is his side’s top scorer, so looks a good odds-against pick.
Salomon Rondon to score
Newcastle have only failed to score twice in their last seven away games in all competitions, at Tottenham and Liverpool.
Rondon scored the equaliser in the Magpies’ victory over Manchester City last month and has also bagged three goals in his last five appearances on the road.
Over 4.5 corners
Both Wolves and Newcastle average 4.5 corners each per match in the Premier League, so this looks an easy way to bump the price up.
Fabian Schar to be carded
Schar has received nine bookings in 22 appearances for club and country this season, with seven of those coming in the Premier League.
The Swiss defender is the equal sixth-most booked player in the division so, at that price, is worth including in this multiple.
