Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Watford v Southampton on Saturday.
Southampton to win
Southampton are winless in eight in all competitions but were much-improved in a 2-2 draw at Arsenal last weekend.
Watford, meanwhile, are coming off a 3-0 loss at home to Burnley.
Over 2.5 goals
There have been three or more goals in five of Southampton’s six home games this season, and nine of their last 10 matches overall.
This bet has also landed in two of Watford’s last three matches.
Danny Ings to score
Ings is Southampton’s top scorer this season with six in the Premier League and eight in all competitions.
That haul includes two in his last two matches against Everton and Arsenal.
Jose Holebas to be carded
Holebas has already accrued five yellow cards in the Premier League this season and served a one-match suspension after just nine games.
Three of those cards came away from home.
Over 3.5 total cards
Watford are one of the Premier League’s most ill-disciplined teams with 28 yellows and a red so far this term.
Tensions will be high at St. Mary’s with these teams separated by just a point at the bottom of the table, meaning cards are likely.
