Here are four football tips that Will Rook thinks you should consider for the Manchester derby on Saturday evening.

media media

Manchester United to win or draw

Manchester United have a habit of pulling a surprising result out when things are going wrong. They also have a decent recent record in the derby, having won three out of four last season.

City have won only one of their last four away games, failing to beat Tottenham, West Ham and Leeds.

Manchester City to win the first half

Manchester United haven’t been winning at half-time in any of their league games so far this season. They came back from behind to beat Everton, Southampton and West Ham in their last four games.

City, meanwhile, have scored the opening goal eight times.

Kevin De Bruyne to score

De Bruyne scored in Manchester City’s 2-0 victory over Fulham last time out and looks a decent price to bag again.

The Belgian averages 3.7 shots per game in the league – the fourth-most in the Premier League and more than any other City or United player.

Under 10.5 corners

Just two of the last eight Manchester derbies have come in over this mark.

United haven’t had more than three corners in any of their last six meetings with City, while the visitors have had fewer than eight in four of their last seven league games.
