Here are Adam Drury‘s football tips for Man City v Watford.

Man City to win to nil

City have kept three consecutive clean sheets, including 1-0 wins against West Ham and Bournemouth in the last 10 days where their opponent did not have a sniff, so they’re an easy bet to keep out Watford on Saturday.

The Hornets have conceded 20 goals and scored just once in their last seven away games against the Premier League’s top six, most recently losing 5-0 at Liverpool 10 days ago.

Since January 2017, they have lost all 12 of their away games against the Premier League’s elite, failing to score in eight of them.

Riyad Mahrez to score

Mahrez, remarkably, has scored in his last six appearances against the Hornets, a run that includes a goal at Vicarage Road in December.

He also looks a certain starter given City’s injuries in midfield. Having scored the winner at Bournemouth last week, he is a nice bet to hit the net again.

Will Hughes to be carded

Hughes has only been carded three times this season, but his tenacity means he is sure to pick up more between now and the end of the season.

He ranks 22nd for fouls and 25th for tackles per game in the Premier League this season, very high for a player who does his best work in attack.

Goal between 76-90 minutes

Watford have conceded twice in the last 15 minutes of all three of their away games against the Premier League’s top six this season – four, if you include the EFL Cup game at Tottenham – so they are likely to struggle to last the distance here.

City have scored in the last 15 minutes in five of their last seven matches at the Etihad, so are perfectly poised to take advantage.
