Here are five football tips Jack Green thinks you should consider for Liverpool v Sheffield United.

Liverpool to win to nil

Liverpool have won 17 consecutive Premier League home games dating back to February, and have kept six clean sheets in their last eight matches in all competitions.

The Reds kept out a Wolves team that had been scoring at will away from home, so shouldn’t have too much trouble against Sheffield United, who lost 2-0 to Man City on Sunday.

Liverpool to lead at half time

Sadio Mane opened the scoring after 42 minutes for Liverpool against Wolves on Sunday, meaning Jurgen Klopp’s side have now led at half time in six consecutive Premier League matches.

Liverpool have been ahead at the break on 14 occasions this season – three more than any other top-flight side.

Under 2.5 goals

Though Liverpool’s winning streak should continue, a walkover is unlikely.

There have been under 2.5 goals in Sheffield United’s last four matches, while they’ve only conceded three or more goals on one occasion this season.

Roberto Firmino to score

Firmino had scored four goals in three games before the Wolves game on Sunday.

The Brazilian did take more shots than any other player in that 1-0 victory, though, so is a good bet to get back on the scoresheet here.

Sheffield United to have the most cards

Liverpool have the best disciplinary record in the Premier League, with 20 yellow cards and one red in their 19 matches so far.

Sheffield United have twice as many bookings as Liverpool this season and have had at least three players carded in three of their last four away games.
