Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Liverpool v Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Liverpool to win

Liverpool are unbeaten in 45 Premier League matches at Anfield, so represent good value as the slight underdogs.

They have won four of their last five home games against City, with a 0-0 draw last season the only exception.

Over 2.5 goals

This has landed in five of the last seven meetings between these sides in all competitions.

Liverpool have scored at least twice in all their home games so far this term, while City have scored 22 goals in their eight away games.

Goal scored between 76-90 minutes

Liverpool have scored five and conceded three during the final 15 minutes of Premier League matches this season.

City have scored seven and conceded two during the same timeframe.

Over 4.5 total cards

Recent meetings between these sides have been feisty affairs, with this bet landing in four of their last five Premier League encounters.

That 0-0 draw at Anfield last season was the only exception, when four yellows were issued.

Fabinho to be carded

Fabinho has received four of Liverpool’s 13 yellow cards in the league this season.

He’s a good bet to earn a one-game suspension on Sunday after being rested against Aston Villa last weekend.
