Here are five football tips that Adam Drury thinks you should consider for Chelsea v Watford on Saturday evening.
Chelsea to win & BTTS
Chelsea have won their last four domestic matches at Stamford Bridge and Watford are unlikely to put an end to that run.
Frank Lampard’s side have conceded to Aston Villa and West Ham since the restart, though, so it is worth throwing BTTS into the mix. A repeat of the Blues’ 2-1 win at Watford earlier in the season would do us nicely.
Christian Pulisic to score
Pulisic has scored in two of his last three league appearances and was Chelsea’s best player in their defeat at West Ham on Wednesday.
He scored in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road.
Craig Dawson to score
Chelsea’s problems from set-pieces are well documented, with only three Premier League teams conceding more goals from dead ball situations this season.
Dawson is the Hornets’ best threat from set-pieces, scoring from one in their first game back after the restart, so is worth a punt to score.
Marcos Alonso to be carded
Alonso has picked up four yellow cards and a red this season, with all of them coming at Stamford Bridge.
He comes up against Watford’s best attacker, Ismaila Sarr, in this game.
Will Hughes to be carded
Hughes has picked up four bookings this season, too, and is surely set for more.
He ranks 13th for tackles and seventh for fouls per game in the Premier League.
