Here are five football tips Will Rook thinks you should consider for Aston Villa v Leicester on Sunday.

Leicester to win

Leicester secured their seventh-straight victory on Wednesday with a 2-0 win over Watford, equalling their club-record winning streak.

It’s hard to see them dropping points at the moment, especially against an Aston Villa side that has lost four of their last six.

Jamie Vardy to score exactly one goal

Vardy has scored in each of his last seven matches for Leicester, so looks a decent bet to do so again.

He has only scored more than one goal once in that sequence – a hat-trick in the 9-0 mauling of Southampton in October.

Leicester to score one or two goals

Leicester have scored exactly two goals in each of their last five matches and in seven of their last eight.

That 9-0 win away at Southampton was the only exception.

Last goal to be scored between 76 and 90 minutes

There has been a goal in this window in eight of Leicester’s last 10 matches.

The outliers in that sequence are the Foxes’ victories over Burnley and Arsenal in October and November, in which there were goals in the 74th and 75th minutes respectively.

Aston Villa to get the most cards

Leicester are top of this season’s fair play table - the Foxes haven’t had anyone sent off this season and have picked up just 15 bookings, the equal-fewest in the Premier League.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, have had 21 yellows and one red.
