Here are five football tips that Jack Green thinks you should consider for Arsenal v Newcastle on Sunday.

Arsenal to win by exactly one goal (Draw +1)

Arsenal are unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions and have improved under Mikel Arteta. They should beat Newcastle, who have taken two points from their last four league away games.

The Gunners have only won by more than one goal on two occasions all season in the Premier League, though, so a narrow margin of victory is likely.

Arsenal to lead at half-time

Arsenal have been ahead after 45 minutes in all three of their league home games since Arteta took charge in December.

Newcastle haven’t led at half-time since they beat Sheffield United in December – a run that spans 10 matches – so the Gunners should make the faster start on Sunday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score exactly one goal

Aubameyang has been Arsenal’s most reliable scorer by far this season. The Gunners’ captain has scored 14 league goals – including one against Newcastle on the opening day – while none of his team-mates have scored more than five.

The 30-year-old is this game’s most likely scorer, but it’s worth backing him to only find the net once as he has bagged just two braces all season.

Arsenal to have the most cards

Arsenal have the worst disciplinary record in the Premier League, with three red cards and 60 yellows – four more than any other side.

Newcastle have been much better behaved this season, rankings 15th in cards with two reds and 39 yellows.

Under 6.5 Arsenal corners

Arsenal have taken four corners or fewer in each of their last five home matches, including just one against Manchester United and two against Chelsea.

Even against a Newcastle side that will sit deep and invite pressure, this should be a safe bet.
