Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Chelsea v Manchester City on Thursday evening.

Manchester City to win & over 1.5 goals

City have returned from the break in inspired form, scoring eight goals and conceding none in their two games against Arsenal and Burnley.

Chelsea beat Villa in their first game back but have lost four of their last five in the Premier League against City, with over 1.5 goals landing in their last three meetings.

Kevin De Bruyne to score

De Bruyne dropped to the bench against Burnley so is highly likely to get a start at Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder ran the game against Arsenal as he notched his ninth goal of the Premier League season, and is a good bet to reach double figures on Thursday.

Goal scored between 46-60 minutes

Both these teams tend to come to life after the break, with Chelsea scoring 14 and City netting 13 in this timeframe of Premier League matches this season. No other side has managed more than 10.

All three of their combined matches the restart have seen goals scored in the 15 minutes following half-time.

Jorginho to be carded

Jorginho is the only player in the Premier League to receive 10 yellow cards already this season, with the midfielder missing their last two matches through suspension.

He is set to return to the starting XI on Thursday, and is a prime candidate for the book once again with an opposition midfielder being carded in four of City’s last six matches in all competitions.
