Premier League acca: An 8/1 four-fold for Saturday’s matches

There are five Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we have picked out a four-fold for the action, which includes the big one at 8pm when Manchester City host Newcastle United.

There are five Premier League matches to get stuck into on Saturday, with implications at both ends of the table.

The standout tie sees title hopefuls Manchester City host Newcastle in the late game at 8pm, when the home side can narrow the gap to leaders Arsenal to just two points.

Earlier in the day, Aston Villa take on Leeds, Brentford host Brighton and Burnley travel to Chelsea in the three afternoon matches at 3pm, before West Ham try to continue their survival push against Bournemouth at the London Stadium at 5.30pm.

We have put together an accumulator for Saturday’s matches which pays at more than 8/1 in the Premier League odds, if successful.

Saturday’s Premier League tips

  • Aston Villa to beat Leeds United @ 5/6
  • Brentford to beat Brighton @ 1/1
  • Cole Palmer to score anytime vs West Ham @ 8/11
  • Manchester City vs Newcastle – Both teams to score @ 11/20
    Four-fold at more than
    8/1

Villa can keep pressure on leaders

Leeds may be on a decent run of form, but Villa will be out to cut the gap to leaders Arsenal to just five points with a win this weekend.

In the reverse fixture back in November, Unai Emery’s men claimed a 2-1 victory at Elland Road.

While an FA Cup exit last weekend was disappointing, Villa can use the clash with Leeds to get back to winning ways and maintain their chances of challenging for the league title, with Leeds having registered just one win on the road while losing seven times in the league this season.

Leg 1: Aston Villa to beat Leeds @ 5/6

Bees can pile more misery on Brighton

Brighton have won just once in the Premier League this year – and that came on January 3 – to sink to 14th in the table, just seven points above the drop zone.

In contrast, Brentford are on a high right now under Keith Andrews, having climbed to seventh, just five points outside the top four.

Indeed, the Bees have defeated Villa and Newcastle in recent weeks, while also holding Arsenal to a draw.

Except them to pile even more misery on the south coast side this weekend.

Leg 2: Brentford to beat Brighton @ 1/1

Palmer to continue rich vein

Following an injury-hit first few months of the season, Cole Palmer is finally finding some form.

He has scored seven Premier League goals since mid-December, and even scored three in the first half alone against Wolves earlier this month.

In six matches against Burnley throughout his senior career, Palmer has scored four goals.

With a World Cup place up for grabs this summer, Palmer is coming into form at precisely the right time and will want to continue his run to cement his place in the England squad.

Leg 3: Cole Palmer to score anytime against Burnley @ 8/11

Goals expected at the Etihad

Manchester City and Newcastle meet for the fourth time this season, with Pep Guardiola’s men leading the head-to-head 2-1.

In two of those three matches, both teams have found the back of the net.

Considering how well each side has played in recent weeks, expect action at both ends of the field on Saturday evening, particularly with the Magpies having scored 11 goals in their last three games, all of which were on the road.

Leg 4: Manchester City vs Newcastle – Both teams to score @ 11/20
